When Putin offered to negotiate a peaceful separation - they refused, thinking he was weakened and was trying to prevent loss of acquired territories. Little did they know

Yesterday they refused another urge to peace negotiations from Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban.
By the end of today Zelenskyy and minions are looking for the way out and asking his “Mentors” if they can negotiate with Russia on his behalf so he doesn’t look stupid. All his narcissistic persona cares about is how he looks on the screens around the world. Not about his country and people.
The offers of a cease fire during negotiations were refused by Russia.
They learned quick not to trust anyone after the Minsk agreement conditions were not honoured.
So looks like we actually are to witness a Fall of Ukraine as a state.
Russia will take over Kiev, Odessa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Mikolaiv, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kropyvnytskyi, Cherkasy, Vinnitsia, Zytomyr, Kropyvnytskyi, Chrnivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil regions.
Belarus might acquire Rivne and Lutsk regions.
Poland and Slovakia will take over Lviv region.
Hungary and Romania will split Uzhgorod region.
And state of Ukraine will be known in history books as a state which failed to exist more the century. Despite given all the wasted opportunities.
    Oh well. What’s new? đŸ€·â€â™‚ïž

Understood yet I doubt it will unfold this way. What's more likely is Russia completely takes Donbass and pushed pass the dniper river, snatches a small amount in and around the north, retakes , Kherson and makes a series play for Odessa. If Ukraine doesn't stop then ...sooner or later they look Odessa. After that , with Russia relentless attack on infrastructure, and control so much resources in former Ukraine areas (Novo Russiya) and old Russia... Ukraine becomes a weak desastre state which will collapse on its own even with European and U.S backing . In addition at this point a large part of Ukrainian population will flee , most to Russia.

  • @mightyfraserriver977
    @mightyfraserriver977 Pƙed 2 dny +33

It took many generations for Ukraine to build that population and amount of strong soldiers and military. After a big military loss usually the losing countries population does not grow for a very long time. Bad economy and much sadness from all the lost family members and morale. If Ukrainian people learned history and put aside there huge hatred and ego , they would of been the second strongest country in the world. All of Europe and America would not be able to defeat Ukraine and Russia combined if they just worked together.

All the channels the tool recommends are Western mass media propaganda channels, or Ukrainian propaganda channels. It’s only via its existence being spread through social networks that this channel gets as many views as it does.
Frankly, I’m surprised that the channel hasn’t been totally banned. But, maybe that’s a side benefit of the search tool keeping it hidden. Even the NĂ©e Oh Cons haven’t found it to demand that it be dropped.

A point that should be addressed are the remarks by e.g. former British Ministry of Defence official Rob Johnson (resigned director of 'Office of Net Assessment and Challenge') that the UK is unprepared to engage in armed conflict of _any_ scale.
In my view, since the UK is the leading agitator for conflict with the Russian Federation, undermining all international efforts of negotiations, this can only be interpreted as evidence that the Transatlantic West has always planned upon the deployment of weapons of mass destruction.

In these people's minds Sevastopol is like a Singapore or Gibraltar. And you can occupy it with impunity _if_ you enter on UN-condoned pretext of delivering humanitarian aid. "Consider that the UK and France once invaded Crimea [Crimean War of 1853] but failed to come out of it with the geopolitical prize of Sevastopol Port."
I'd argue that the strategic objective of the Crimean War was to unite the European Pentarchy against an increasingly European Rus (marching unto Paris in 1815, protecting Vienna in 1848), to stall it's expansion into the Balkans and unto Istanbul, fragmenting the Ottoman Empire - the enlightened Western great powers thus becoming the protectors of slave holders.
In the 21st century, guided ballistic missiles, stationed in the Black Sea can reach half of France and parts of Britain - a plausible reason to fund a coup in Kiev to end the lease of Sevastopol to a Russian Black Sea Fleet (with most Ukrainian sailors defecting to a Novorossiya movement).
'In these people's minds Sevastopol is like a Singapore or Gibraltar. And you can occupy it with impunity if you enter on UN-condoned pretext of delivering humanitarian aid. Just have another party engineer the urgent need for humanitarian aid. Then dial down the conflict, and don't leave.'
I'm not sure, I follow what You have in mind as there is no way, UK or France could enter Sevastopol under any circumstance other than hypothetical military conquest - but we do see similar schemes in regard to the grain shipment scam which could easily be resolved by transferring Kiev's grain unto rail and forcing Poland per EU Commission not to blockade it... ...but then one couldn't launch naval drones from below the freighters keels...
I'm certain that NATO expects to hold unto the port of Odessa (with the US 101st Airborne just across the Romanian border) - but it would become ever more difficult even with full NATO intervention unless Russian Armed Forces were chronically sick with viral infections of unknown origin.
Is that a scenario You wonder about ?

Yeah right! The front collapses and this will happen more and more. Because the entire front is crumbling more and more. This front will not last much longer. In my opinion, the front will be completely disbanded in about half a year. Everyone can imagine the consequences of this! The question will then be how the Polish government reacts. So whether the Polish army will intervene and occupy areas in the west beyond Lviv in order to create a buffer zone to Russia. The PiS government would certainly have done that. But it remains to be seen whether the left-wing government will also have the cojones for this. If the Polish government were really going to do that, then there would have to be an agreement with the Russians beforehand about a demarcation line where the Polish troops could advance in order to prevent a conflict with Russia. The Russians certainly wouldn't mind if the Poles did that, because it would be very useful for the propaganda of having a Western occupier. The Russians could then point with a big finger at this occupier. In addition, the Ukrainians in the West are particularly hostile to the Russians, which is why the Russians would like to renounce this part of Ukraine. The Poles would tell the Ukrainians in the occupied territories. We want to protect you. If you don't want us, you'll get the Russians. So, that's the only open question. Not whether the front will collapse in the near future, but whether Poland will intervene.

I don't think MilSum's theory about Ukraine giving up territory to facilitate peace talks is at all likely. That would allow the Russians to claim these gains as "facts on the ground." Both sides want the best possible military position before negotiations begin. More likely Ukrainian forces who don't want to die are leaving their positions. Once such actions begin they tend to spread. Eventually it leads to total collapse.

    Kiev has big problems.
The vast majority of their troops have very low moral, are poorly trained (if at all) and are very short on supplies. They hide in their trenches and offer little to no resistance.
What Kiev does have is the combined intelligence gathering of NATO. Whenever Russia masses armored vehicles for an assault, Kiev sends their FPVs, guided artillery and better suited troops to meet them. This makes large armored assaults very costly for Russia. While groupings of soldiers with ATVs sometimes get missed.
If Russia were truly willing to ignore losses, as western sources regularly claim, they could easily break through Kiev's lines. They have instead chosen to overwhelm Kiev by carrying out small advances by foot soldiers all along the line. these attacks continue to yield success, with land taken and surrendered Ukrainians.
Russia has been advancing in this way for over a month, everyday achieving advances. Not only are they advancing everyday but the advances continue growing larger. Its just a matter of time until the war ends.
I called the taking of Avdeevka the beginning of the end and predicted the war to end this year. I still stand by that prediction.

Personally I feel the "New York" (1846) name has more character than Novhorodske "New City" applied in 1951 by the blandest of Soviet bureaucrats. If Putin has his way the locals will some day be free to name their town however they like, just as they can anywhere in Russia.

Something very few mention, and possibly something not many have in mind. The Ukes are getting F-16s, but they are not getting any tankers. No air refueling capability. Which will severely limit the F-16s Combat Radius. And make it necessary to base them closer to the line of combat contact to be effective. Thus, and easier target for the Russians, who are probably zeroed in on every usable airfield in at least Eastern Ukraine, if not the whole country.
I'm somewhat amazed the Ukes have any mission capable fixed winged aircraft left, this far into it.

18:21 Before jumping to ANY conclusion, what units are defending Toreksk-Niu York? And are they at full strenght? This all seem to me that there is a problem with manpower. If we calculate how many troops are needed to man all those positions, trenches, citadells, and strongholds alone in Niu-York, there are a lot and you have to calculate in shifts too. Remember Chasov Yar when the russians arrived at the crossroad with all those trenches, but not a single one was manned?

    • @SvenjaIpsen
      @SvenjaIpsen Pƙed 2 dny +1

Yes...besides "underground or space operations", surrender/desertion or lack of manpower could be the plain reasons for lacking defenses. Maybe in this area they didn't leave many "elite troops" behind, and the Russians are exploiting this weak point. I think it would be very interesting to know more details of which kind of forces (elite/ultranationalist/experienced vs. newcomers/ non-ultranationalists) are stationed where, it would give us a key to understanding Russian modes of attack (swift advances vs. grinding).
