About the S-300: it's not that drones have a stupid range "now", the Orlan 10 always had a 600Km max range, that's why the receiver was so expensive and the CN.1 "suicide recon" version of the drone so cheaply build (it's not a CN 1 here , but the footage could be from a CN 2). What change, maybe, is the capacity for a long range drone to circle a SAM position without any problem, or maybe just the willingness from russian army to share this kind of footage.

In fact since both places probably refer to the name Constantine, your pronunciation should be perfectly acceptable, and it's likely that in the case of that town the "n" got lost over the centuries :P
Or maybe it's one of them "agressive" ukrainizations. After all the name in Russian is Konstantin and in Ukrainian Kostiantyn... (damn everything is uglier in Ukrainian).

The Russians wiped out the 92nd Airborne in Hlyboke about 2 days ago, so it's a new brigade but don't know who. If they really took those areas, they took mass casualties doing it, as overnight their failed assault killed 70.
