So what were the results??
I had a sleep number bed. What a joke! Not only did the mattress fall apart but the space aged "unbreakable" bed frame fell apart. I sure fell for the marketing lol. Now i have a memory foam mattress and good wooden bed frame. I sleep so much better now.
I had two Sleep Number beds in my house. The frames fell apart and the motors worked inconsistently. Both mattresses developed black mold inside!!! Customer Service was NO HELP. There was a lawsuit over the mold problems (which were widespread and common), but I never heard how that turned out.
I have a Sleep Number bed, it's amazing after a year the damn thing turned into a King Size Papasan Chair/Bed
The best medical advice we ever heard about which mattress is best for your body was this: obtain the firmest mattress you can live with. We went that direction and have felt like a king and queen since we purchased our very firm 'orthopedic'-style mattress from The Mattress Factory about 4 years ago. I have no doubt that we'll get the same mattress again when we replace this one! :)
Thanks for saying what I've been thinking after a long process. I like all latex but am on my second exchange for firmer layers. This is due to the thickness of 8" of 3 layers. 3 firm layers do not necessarily add up to one firm total. I have a feeling that I will end up on only 6" of latex.
I've got a Stearns & Foster Fleet Street extra firm mattress. I love it. It's very supportive and made my back pain go away.
This Mattress better have a nice hand that massages me for $8k.
Costco Kirkland premium mattress Hope Bay. Been a dream of a mattress. Paid $1700.
I'd like to see you review some latex mattresses, and some online only mattresses
Just cause it cost more doesn't mean it's better
Ikeea memory foam mattresses are pretty good for the price
Maybe one of the best Artificial mattress along with Tempur since it’s Swedish. If you want the best overall AND ALL-NATURAL, go for Hästens, Savoir, Vispring and Glencraft.
That's a lot of tests, but did you actually try to sleep on it? Seems to be the most important factor to me. Probably durability as a second.
What's your thoughts on the sleep number bed? Seems to change with temperature..

Ca king duxiana 7 yrs or so old. Been great great until this year. Seems to be sagging but I can't find the tool (moved twice) to tighten the support. I've shifted and doubled the square pieces but it didn't resolve the sagging. I hope to find the :!;_ tool.
Shopping for mattress but not sure where I could get the best deal.
Intellibed is the BEST BY FAR mattress ever invented!!!!
I have one of the worst mattresses. I purchased it from IKEA, After 3 yrs, I have puckering on the sides. I feel springs popping It's now very uncomfortable.
It is a marketing ploy, get you lighter in bank balance. Any good mattress will give you good night sleep, in the past people have used rice husk, bamboo leaves, and grass for the mattress.
This aint got shit on my $140 futon
Sleep number bed by far the best sleep I have ever had. It matters little how much I hurt my back during the day I cam always find a setting that will allow me to be comfortable and thwart my pain!
Best: ikea sultan fidjetun. Ultra plush and supportive. All guests who use my bed rave about the comfort! I couldn't agree more! & inexpensive! Full was less than $250!
"Latex" has a luxury connotation but with my $7,500 Duxiana mattress the latex quickly yellowed, became brittle, and started to crumble after just a few years of owning the mattress. Looking into the problem I discovered that latex is a rubber based product. It is all natural but there is no method to prevent it from oxidizing and disintegrating over time. In a mattress, it might look good and feel good initially but it has no longevity and should not be used. Duxiana does not admit fault and will not refund or replace my crumbling mattress. Buyer beware.
I can guarantee that the latex in that mattress is not 100% sap of a tree latex rubber. It is synthetic or blended latex. In other words, it probably has 30% natural rubber latex blended with 70% petroleum based latex. Blended latex will not last and will yellow and crumble over time. Pure botanical latex mattresses have lasted 20 to 30 years with no softening, sloughing, cratering etc. The company was gets away with calling what was in your mattress 100% latex because man made latex is considered latex. Marketing hype that goes into modern mattresses is shameful to say the least
That mattress must be a piece of shit, I have a latex over pocket coil mattress that I made myself using a 3 inch 100% natural Dunlop latex topper and the latex is still like brand new after 5 years
I'd buy a $49,000 mattress just for the price tag.
serta is not for heavy people
we'll let you know....typical, here have another $5 per month for your website....
Sleep Number ( Loud , expensive not couple friendly, glorified airbed)
I have a Dormeo memory plus mattress and I’m more than happy with it... don’t need to spend silly money on that rubbish for a good night sleep...
