- This ultra-luxurious bed costs $200,000 and is made by the Swedish bed makers Hästens. The company makes the most expensive beds in the world. They call this bed the Vividus. We took a look at every detail of the Vividus that makes it stand out from other beds on the market. Most surprising is the fact that the bed is constructed of layer upon layer of horse-tail hair. Insider's Emily Christian also headed to the brand's New York City flagship to try out its signature bed test with the Vividus and uncover what a night's sleep would really be like on the extravagant mattress.

They didn’t mention the service, that comes with the purchase of the bed. Depending on the model, a craftsman comes over to your place once a month/week and fluffs the mattress, steams it, cleans it, etc. to make sure it doesn’t lose its firmness over time.
I mean for that price I honestly kinda expected it lol.

It’s actually the horse’s pubic hair.
The hair is spun and then braided into long ropes. The ropes are stored on massive spools and stored. This makes the horse hair curly. She described it in the video, but not with too much detail.

A four bedroom, like theirs, but without a pool just sold for $411k. Covid has sent prices out of all reason. The only thing now around or under $200k is a condominium and monthly fees went from around $225 to $775. It is insane.

I got an accident, near death experience. My spine, hip, and legs are in paind everytime I lied my body. Funny, when I felt asleep on a carpet, it heals the pain significantly in the following morning. For me, softer the bed, it hurts my body more.
That's bevause sleeping on a very firm surface is better for you in many ways. Sleeping on a bed, or mattress is a western idea that has since been proven less beneficial than sleeping on the floor. This clown just wants to make more money by selling a ridiculous product.

I have been wanting to get a hastens bed for 10 years now. Just a bit out of my price range, lol; I actually enjoy one of their lower model that retailed for $15k pre-pandemic. I did test the $200k, and I wanted the $15k one more, lol. You are not limited to 200k for a really great sleep.

To me crazy to spend that much, I understand there is no price one can pay for a restful sleep, I looked into the Intellibed, I felt lower back support right off. Look into that!

ABSOLUTELY! Cars would last barely 10-12 yrs and costs a lot of maintenance, plus you only spend a few hrs in them compared to sleeping 8hrs each night. Sleep is the most underrated luxury in the world.
