RomaroBrandon - absolutely false that Raj looks physically stronger than Sheldon. First, Parsons is way taller and actually has nice muscles - we have seen it on the show. There is this one scene in later seasons (I don't remember the exact episode now) when Amy is giving Sheldon a shot (some vaccine or smth), and Sheldon is sitting in her lab, with the sleeve rolled up right over his shoulder so that his muscles and biceps are clearly visible, and they're quite nice, well-shaped. Parsons was also quite athletic in real life, for example, he played basketball all his life, and he said in the interview that he had trouble acting like he was awful at basketball in the episode when Kripke and Sheldon are 'fighting' over Amy, competing in various sports, among others, playing basketball.
So Sheldon is and looks way stronger than Raj. Sheldon is from a physically strong family, with athletic talents, and so it doesn't matter that Sheldon is a nerd because he inherited, clearly, some of his dad's athletic strength, so it makes sense. And he does look stronger than Raj, simply because the actor, Jim, actually is physically quite strong, and looks stronger than Kunal.

At first I also couldn’t believe Sheldon was stronger than Raj then I remembered he grew up in Texas. Nerd Sheldon maybe but with an older brother and a tough twin sister not to mention attending high school and college while still a child that had to have toughened him up
How could Sheldon not beat Raj at arm wrestling if Raj isn’t even half as strong as him?
I’m guessing Sheldon would rather be beating Raj at the Tetris portion than the actual physical aspect of this game. That’s where most of his focus was at the moment

He has a Twin sister and an older brother. Even I, an only child, know that you gotta have a good grip if you want to stay in your room, clenching to the bed frame to evade any shenanigans with the siblings.
He did grow up in a football family and in Texas, like or not, he still gained some muscle from the experience, though mostly only enough to probably be the strongest of the guys (I specify the guys because Penny is way stronger and Bernadette has been known to be deceptively powerful.)

Man season 1 and early seasons are so good, I still rewatch it after so many years. Later seasons are mostly garbage about dating.

I remember in the early episode of season 1, Sheldon and Leonard tried to take Penny's heavy furniture up to her apartment. In that episode, Sheldon stated that their upper body don't have that much strength. So if Sheldon is stronger than Raj, I can't imagine how weak Raj is. 😂😂

@@ruhalfoyls fear is personal and in itself has literally nothing to do with physical strength, I know people much stronger than me who are scared of spiders, I think spiders are cute, I also know people clearly weaker than me who aren't bothered by centipedes, a living nightmare for me, Raj grew up in India, he probbaly knew this snake wasn't even venomous, India is literally infestd with King Cobra's for peet's sake, and if Sheldon put it there, I imagine he wasn't afraid of it either which makes sense because otherwise you wouldn't get near the thing to begin with and he's from texas which houses another type of venomous snake named Rattlesnakes ... your argument is completely unrelated to the matter at hand
