Vintage 2-Strand Braided Roll Tutorial

This two strand braid is similar to a 1940s style hair roll. It sits high on the head like a crown, quite elegant! And best of all it’s simple and quick!
Braids were a popular style in the 40s and there were a lot of creative ways to interweave them in to hairstyles. Extra braided hairpieces were particularly popular, and though this style does not use any it give that impression! Add some vintage hair combs, flowers or accessories to dress it up.
You will need:
A comb
One clear hair elastic
Bobby pins
Flat pins
Optional:
Decorative flat pin
Hair poofs/sausages/stuffing

This is perfect for an event I'll be volunteering at with my historical society! I'm on kitchen duty so even though i have to wear a uniform i was given full freedom with my hair and this'll be perfect!
