    Fartlek workouts are beneficial for improving speed, endurance, and mental toughness, as they mimic the unpredictable nature of racing.
    Our Workout Was:
    10,5,4,3,2,1 minute pushes
    Recovery was:
    5,5,4,3,2 minutes

    Nice workout! Provo has sure changed since I left almost 40 years ago. Have ran that route (Center street to Utah Lake) many many times except for some of the roads and sub-divisions that weren't built yet on the way back!

    Try not to kip on your pull-ups. Do as many reps with strict form and you'll be less likely to develop injuries.
