Simple concept that is over looked and will save you holes in your hood/barrier. And this becomes even more obvious after you've determined what Zero you are using based on the application of the firearm and arena of battle. The further out you zero for, the farther you have to factor HOB before you make the difference negligible

Why we shoot with both eyes open.
And the massive advantage of a red dot or holographic sight over an LVPO.
I'm aware of the PID benefits of a LVPO but if they're far enough away that you have time to be observing them then you have time to be glassing with better optics than an LVPO
A battle rifle is just that for battle, if you're gonna rock a scope you've changed the arena its designed for and become a SPR or DMR.
I have weapons set up as both, I cannot find a justifiable reason for not running a red dot and if you are truly using both eyes you'll see a barricade is in the way of your muzzle.
