Honestly when compared to the first book, this show is so good. It was good enough that I watched all 7 eps in one go, and I could easily see myself watching it over. Honestly my only gripe is Eva’s design. In the book, her outfit conveyed the message that even though she’s going through a lot of personal growth and adventure, she’s still just a child. I feel like her design in the show focuses too much on a trained warrior and not enough on an explorer who’s still finding out more about herself. The blue armor-like bodysuit just doesn’t match her personality to me. MUTHR’s design grew on me though. This show NEEDS a second and third season to adapt the other two books. It’s such a visually stunning show with great characters and the perfect actors to bring them to life. But at least a second season would be awesome, as that one goes more in-depth about the things season 1 left us off on.
Just finished it. In my opinion it was a 10/10 wonderful story. The world was amazingly beautiful. For a person like myself who is into solar punk in nature. It was really great.
If you guys like the sound of the story then watch the books, I read the books as a kid and enjoyed it so much and I think people would get more from the book
When I saw the trailer for this I didn't think I would watch it, but I just binged it and it was quite good, some things did drag perhaps but all characters were nice and the alien settings are very cool looking. Hopefully they make more seasons!
Is it just me or does the company who made this have a tendency to make main characters with brown hair and eyes and tan skin? Nothing wrong with it but it’s in nearly all their movies

If you liked the series you will enjoy the books way better if its the story your looking for, the show is a dumbed down kiddy version of it
