Italy always say that will built a lot of stadiums but at the end never happen. All the stadiums (except Juventus and Udinese and now Atalanta are renew their stadium) are the same old stadiums with the same promise of renoval inthe las 20 years. All the renders of this stadium, most of them, they will not take place.

Fiorentina and Roma are hardly happening. The more plausible are Padova (already happening I think), Sudtirol (some renovation started already), Avellino, Bologna (both already have the stadium in concession so that means that a very hard part is done) and Cagliari (they are playing in a temporary stadium, maybe it will take time but probably the stadium is gonna happen)

Stadiums like Roma, Lazio, Fiorentina, and a few others (mainly from Serie A) you can rest assure that in 99% of the cases, the nly place they;ll ever exist will be here, on the Internet - CZcams.
And the reason for it (should be, by now...) is quite well known - Italia bureaucracy & idiotic brainwashing that those old ruins (like A.Franchi, in Florence) are historical, cultural heritage. Which means, they're put on the same level as the buildings made by Rafaelo, or L.Da Vinci! In oter words, the city authorities and (most abominable)the other international associations are doing everything within their legal power, to disable the building of new stadiums, like the (gorgeous) new Fiorentina stadium, or Lazio;s new Aquile stadium.... (I won't even mention new AS Roma stadium, that was turned down again and again, for straight 8, or 9 years, despite all the changes the club owners and architects have made) will most likely forever stay only a CZcams creations.
Obviously, someone in Italian governing system, don't want Serie A to prosper and become what it used to be - world's Number 1 football league - despite the fact that the teams, and the league itself has changed so much, from the world's most the most defensive leagues, it has converted into one of the Europe's most attractive & goal-prollific leagues, that gives ppl all over the world, an utter entertainment & joy of offensive football!
Yet, the new, modern stadiums are essential for the teams' prosperous future. However, many ppl in Italia politics don't want to see that happening. So... this will remain the only place where we could watch new Serie A stadiums!

If you know anything about Italy you will know already that most of these will NEVER be built or finished anytime soon UNLESS there is a a full in-country European Championship or World Cup competition hosted.... Why? Because such is the beauracracy and commune corruption in Italy that only a big national government driven effort will get all these stadiums built or completed by end of 2030.

However in Italy there are already many owned stadiums built with non-UEFA Italian money as in France. There is Sassuolo with the first private stadium in Italy in the year 99, then Juventus,Udinese, Frosinone, Atalanta, and other semi-private stadiums. But in Italy it takes 100 stages, not as nations that have only 2 teams max 3 teams.

In Italia abbiamo tante idee... Ma mancano soldi e troppa burocrazia.
In Ungheria, Romania, Bulgaria tanto per citarne qualcuno.. Ma anche fuori dall Europa hanno stadi migliori dei nostri.

So many issues with all this. Firstly, Italian planning bureaucracy means 90% will never be built. Secondly, they are all so tiny and most are way under 40,000 which is the minimum you need to be part of a Euros or World Cup bid, meaning they may serve a community right now but not Italy, and are all terribly short sighted and pessimistic for any fan growth. Lastly, knocking down an iconic 80,000 stadium in Milan only to replace it with a 60,000 is just foolish. If you build another iconic stadium which you'd think fans would be even more keen to attend you'd at least match the capacity of the existing. You'll literally be turfing fans out for the derby and most big games. For the others, let kids in for a few Euro and grow not regress.
