- A lot of people find the export process from 3D Coat a little intimidating and yet I find it super simple so I thought I'd just quickly go through my process. Once you've done it a couple of times you can do it with your eyes closed!

awesome, best video ive seen today!
Always good to see a fellow 3DCoat user. Nice clear tutorial. Thanks.
thanks for sharing
Any tutorials that cover the basics of 3D Coat in detail that you recommend? I've tried a few but they always left out stuff and I just couldn't figure out how to make the settings work since I'm a beginner.
It's hard to say really because It can do so many things that it's hard for the tutorial to know what to keep in and not keep in. My knowledge just drip fed in over time by watching various tutorials. Plus asking questions on the 3d Coat discord. Without those guys I may have given up on the software as it made so little sense in the beginning.
Hello, Andy, did you make whole model in 3d Coat?
I did indeed.
@@AndyWalshI have decent amount of experience with modeling "hard surface" weapons and sci fi assets in 3d coat, but never modeled medieval theme - adobe wall was done with stencils I presume?
@@SrdjanPavlovic11080 yep, pretty simple with stencils. I often use the pose tool to pull out the detail.
@@AndyWalsh thank you!
Huehue, fine.
