Sick and tired of watching run jump dunk no iq man. FR he hurts the eyes in the playoffs 😢
@@pv2639 Tell me you don't watch Basketball without telling me. Giannis is a very intelligent player, yes he is a eurostep god and takes his gather step in the middle of the court on his way to a free dunk, but it's not like he doesn't have a middle range game. He's also an absolute monster on defense and frankly only rivaled by Kawhi Leonard on that end. Calling him no IQ run and dunk is just parroting what Harden said about him, which isn't true at all and just a bunch of salt. The only flaws in Giannis' game are that he's not an elite 3 points shooter nor a particularly good passer, but who gives a fuck about that. His coach gave him a role to fill and he knows how to fill it.
Living in a constant state of fear that Jokic will suddenly retire to go pursue horse things. Being a nuggets fan is rough :/
The nuggets would probably add a horse stable to keep jokic from retiring.
This joke has started to be taken more seriously than it should’ve ever been
Yea rough you guys won last year but i get what you mean
As a Denver native and Nuggets fan, this doesn’t concern me at all! It’s all part of Joker’s unassuming nature to deflect attention from away him.
I wouldn't worry about it. Denver really has a lot of land for huge ranches. They'll just build a horse ranch to keep Jokic around for a while.
Hopefully your prediction wins a playoff series this time.
Miami's obvious weakness would be depth. They already lost two key rotation players in Vincent and Strus. With this trade, they'd be losing at least Robinson and Herro to make the money work. Jovic could even be included. So now you're down to four players, essentially -- Lowry, Lillard, Butler, and Adebayo. That's an awesome top 4, if Lowry can give you anything. But where is the rest of your rotation? Maybe you can fill out the roster with minimums, but the majority of those guys are already signed.
lowrys definitely gone, package is probably gonna look something like lowry herro duncan and 1 of jovic or jaquez (though the heat are trying to keep herro). herro jovic and jaquez werent part of our run this year so were not losing any depth with them and if we keep one of them im expecting them to have some impact in the playoffs. We got jrich whos around strus level despite being outside of miamis system and gabe was a starter so obviously dames an upgrade. we replaced zeller with bryant which is also an upgrade. so the only players who havent been replaced are lowry and duncan, miamis already trying to replace duncan with swider and im sure we can find a minimum who can give similar production to lowry.
Depth is definitely NOT the concern for Miami, they always find players that can contribute to their team. just watch Haywoof Highsmith this season.
It’s not depth. Miami can definitely reach the finals with just having jimmy and bam. I always trust them to go far in the playoffs (which they do). But the 2 years they went to the finals with jimmy, i never thought of them winning it because the nuggets and lakers were way better teams than them. Having dame makes them look like they have a shot and not look inferior to their opponents in the finals. But it still depends. I think they have a chance to win last season if the nuggets didn’t reach the finals.
@@faxed3423imagine saying WE when you have nothing to do with the franchise 🤡🤡
True but Miami is really good at spotting unwanted players to fill their rotation out. Their bench might look awful but actually kinda work out in the context of their franchise and culture.

I think a grizzlies main con is they probably have the weakest number 1 option out of any real contender. I personally wouldn't count cleveland or or new york as contenders. I feel like if both teams are playing well, Id take basically every other contender head to head which is how I felt about them losing to LA this season.
Well it’s pretty close, and I’d argue that they make up for it with their depth
I wouldn't count grizzlies as contenders either. They aren't far off at all but still fall short imo
Grizzlies need another star to be contenders
@@toptiercrip or better depth
Nuggets have some really good young player coming up that will feel the bench player rule nicely. A lot easier to bring a young player up when they are not ask to be a star right out the gate.

Great list
unless an injury hits the nuggets, i dont think there's any reason that they wont be the frontrunners for the title. Depth is obviously the main issue but if cb and pwat can be good enough and then hope that one of their other guys or a rookie can step up and be a rotation player, they can just pull the 8 man rotation again. One thing people fail to consider is that jamal and mpj both have a very solid chance of having noticeable improvement (especially mpj), the team basically just needs to stay healthy, maybe try to make a move at the trade deadline for a good depth piece, and they're set
people ignored that MPJ was in a shooting slump during that playoff..
and Denver still dominate every team.
I honestly think that the heat with lillard have the same odds as the nuggets. Fun fact the best gamescore performance was The 55 dame put on the nuggets in the playoffs, it was insanity
Bruce Brown loss is being understated …
Front runner for sure, but there's a reason no team has repeated since the superteam Warriors: the league is very competitive. Attempting to replace Bruce Brown (and to a lesser extent Jeff Green) with veterans who were on the team but not the playoff rotation alongside putting hope in rookies / sophomores is a big risk, and not improving their roster while several of their prominent western conference rivals did evens the playing field quite a bit. As for Jamal Murray and MPJ potentially seeing improvement, almost every competitive team has important players they are hoping perform better.
@@marcr196 but none of them has a core that has been playing as long as Denver except for Warriors...
Believing more in the Clippers and Grizzlies then in the Suns is madness lol.
None of them won't ever get to the WCF anymore with their current roster
The one thing you missed about the Celtics weaknesses is the way they match up with the Bucks. In that ECSF series in 2022, they had 3 players who were quite successful guarding Giannis: Grant Williams, Marcus Smart, and Al Horford. If anyone else got the matchup Giannis scored absolutely at will. While the Smart for Porzingis trade might be a slight improvement against the league in general, against the Bucks it is not. Losing Smart and Grant Williams and Al Horford being almost 40, they're MUUUUCH less equipped to guard Giannis.
The Suns hate is unfortunate. Book and Kd gave Denver the best battle and homie picked the clippers as a contender 😢

This phenomenon of everyone thinking the reigning champions are unbeatable is rather interesting because I can see multiple ways the nuggets could lose
Yeah they could. Although they did win the championship without many problems. There arent any questions about their consistency or ceiling. Its possible the defense gets figured out more with more deep playoff runs, or the bench is exploited a lot, there isnt really a reason they can't just beat everyone again
@@ChibiMalzahar I hate being that guy but on their way to the championship they beat a trash Minnesota and 2 teams that were constructed halfway thru the season and barely played together.

Personally I think the Lakers, Nuggs, and Bucks (of course if all healthy) are my top 3 teams that i would pick to win the ring. However the Lakers is dependent on Ad stepping up consistently in the playoffs, keyword there consistently, he has great pplayoff games but has very little consistency from series to series. The Bucks will have to rely on Giannis having another all time Postseason probably even better than he played in 2021. And the Nuggs just need to have all their pieces and theyll be almost impossible to beat in a 7 game series
I don't really believe in the Lakers. I feel like they got worse losing Schroder. Who else is gonna play defense on guys like Steph, Murray, Fox, etc? I believe in the Suns way more than the Lakers. They actually won two games against Denver and got better in the off-season
@@jaceygaither2581 I understand liking the suns but they objectively didn't actually improve that much if at all. The Denver Nuggets.
No brainer.
This Denver Nuggets has the perfect roster, the best player in the world, they are just entering into their prime.
The Nuggets starter 5 has the best net rating, and after a lazy regular season the starting five can play easily 40 minutes.
I’m glad you at least brought up why you didn’t consider the cavs as contenders
I don’t think Brook Lopez’s physicals could get much worse and he played like 78-80 games this year and was hella good at what he was asked to do- almost 16 ppg, 37% from 3 on almost 5 attempts per game, 3 blocks per game, typically boxes out well, is obviously not a locker room issue. I think he’ll be alright and is currently under-appreciated for all that he does
i like the pink floyd shirt
Peyton Watson is gonna be a star for the Nuggets
Nuggets look like they have a weaker team but Jokic is a generational player. So it’s safe to say that they can repeat.
They don't have a "weaker" team at all. Playoff Murray is elite, if he played like that in the season he would be at least 2nd All NBA, Gordon and MPJ are great fits and the role players and bench are pretty good and give the team a lot of depth. Ofcourse it all starts and ends with Jokic, but Nuggets have built a very good and fitting team around him. (Not a superteam like Lebronze/LeGM did)
@@kostastube2010finding a way to bring up LeBron is crazy
@@bilindabutcher8913 Look at Lebronze teams: 2015 Cavs can be considered a superteam, but the fit has attrocious, so they won 1/3 rings. Bubble Lakers are not considered a superteam, but the fit was great, so they won the ring without breaking a sweat.
@@kostastube2010They lost in 2015 due to bad injury luck and lost in 2017 BECAUSE they embarrassed the 73-9 Warriors team in 2016 to capture their only title.
I don’t really have anything to say about Bubbles Lakers, they just did well and took advantage of teams underperforming.
Nuggets only look like a "weaker" team because of their loss of Bruce Brown. Yes, like Rusty said Brown Bruce was as close to a S tier 6th man on a contending team as they get but everyone is so fixated on the loss of Brown that they haven't looked down the rest of the Nuggets depth chart. Christian Braun would be the player who benefits most from the departure of Brown. A high IQ, athletic guard who can do a bit of everything. Then, they have Peyton Watson and Zeke Nnaji who are both incredible defenders but just didn't crack the rotation because of the veterans guys like Jeff Green and DJ. With the loss of Green and Vlatko due to season ending injury, Zeke Nnaji has the runway to be an impactful bench PF/C. Jeff Green was a great veteran presence on the team, but people make such a big deal that he's gone. He is replaceable. If you watch the Nuggets all season, you would know there are other forward options Malone can go to. There are also the 3 older rookies Nuggets drafted this year who all have a legit shot at cracking the rotation if there are injuries or the bench just doesn't cut it. Yes, Denver needs to figure out their bench rotation and experiment what lineup combination best works together. But the same goes for the 29 other NBA teams. Nuggets kept their starting 5 intact. With Christian Braun, that's 6 out of 8 players they have full confidence in playing in the post season. So really, they just need to figure out 1 -2 players who they can trust to give minutes in playoffs. What people don't realize is that Nuggets had one of the worst bench last season and that's with Bruce Brown and Jeff Green still in the rotation. Let that sink in. They did not have a bench identity at all. However, Jamal Murray and MPJ are now as healthy as ever since their injuries. Nuggets have more leeway to find what works for the bench without working in Murray and MPJ back from rehab.
the heat added thomas bryant lol
This is an even numbers championship season. I feel like legacy team will win. One that already has 2+ in their history.

I think people over react to the nuggets losses. Sure, bruce was huge. But Jeff green was kind of ass 95% of the playoffs. (great guy/vet presence though.) The reason those things don't matter as much is because Jamal and MPJ are now a full year removed from their major injuries. MPJ especially, is having his first full offseason where he doesn't have to spend it rehabing. Expect a leap from him. As for our bench, Braun will improve, but more importantly, and somehow unknown outside of nuggets fans, Peyton Watson will be getting minutes. That kid is going to shock people with how crazy his defense is
Jeff Green was an advantage the way lots of older veterans are an advantage: you can play them without worrying about them making silly mistakes. Rookies and sophomores often look way better than a player like Jeff Green when you watch them shoot or make a great defensive stop. But, young players will make the wrong pass, not relocate correctly, forget team defense principles, and other things that don't necessarily show up on box scores but are very impactful in close and intense games. Plus, he gave them a different look for a few minutes a game as a small ball center. I hope for the Nuggets sake that Braun and Watson can replace Brown and Green, but I think the inexperience will still show in high stress circumstances
@@marcr196 "Jeff Green was an advantage the way lots of older veterans are an advantage: you can play them without worrying about them making silly mistakes."
Haha... Someone really has not watched many Nuggets games. Green made plenty of mistakes while playing. He only got the last spot because seniority is still a thing in the NBA, not because he was the best option.
"Plus, he gave them a different look for a few minutes a game as a small ball center."
Yeah, as in a center that could'nt grab a rebound to save his life. There was a stretch during the playoffs where he went without a rebound for almot two whole games. Anyways, Gordon was the de facto small ball center during the playoffs, not Green. His only real, positive contribution was as a veteran presence in the locker room.
By the way, the only stretch during the regular season where the Nuggets bench was not incredibly bad was when Green got injured and Cancar replaced him. Losing Cancar for the season due to the ACL injury is the actual big loss - not "losing" Green. Hopefully Nnaji can stay healthy and, together with Watson (and maybe even Hunter), they'll be much more effective pieces than Greeen was. In any case, there's very little chance whatever combination they go with for the bench will be worse than last year.
Cheers!
first and it'll be the nuggets
wow you're actually first congrats.
Suns easy favorites
No😂
Having LeBron on your team is a double-edged sword. He's one of the greatest players ever, but limited offensively & needs to be on ball to be most effective.
So teams have to go all in & focus on being "top-heavy" or spread out the roster make the team more heliocentric.
Rob really did a great job of getting guys who can create for themselves while also drastically improving our defense though. It really showed throughout the end of last season & playoffs.
the all time leading scorer is not limited offensively

couldn't take the time to do laundry before the record huh
Got here a bit late, but gotta sayt I find people saying "losing" Green was a bad thing for the Nuggets is pretty funny. Their bench with Green was pretty bad for most of the regular season (including Brown, who was not that great during the regular season but really stepped up in the playoffs). The stretch when they actually put it together and became a pretty scrappy defensive unit was when Green got hurt and was replaced by Cancar, for a 4 men unit of Brown, Braun, Cancar and Nnaji. Green didn't play in the playoffs because he was the best option - he played because of seniority. Yeah, they won with him but he was by far the worst player and a huge negative - having Gordon in with the bench was the real difference maker. Losing Brown is a negative, of course, but it's pretty likely Braun will be even better on his sophomore season and able to fill in his spot, plus there's Watson, who many already wanted in to replace Greeen even by last year's playoffs.
Worse than losing Green was effectively losing Cancar for the season (I guess they don't make ACLs like before anymore...), but hopefully Nnaji can finaly be consistenly healthy for a whole season. In any case, it will be very hard for the bench to be worse than it already was last season. I imagine a unit featuring Braun, Watson, and two or three of Nnaji, Jackson, Holiday, Pickett, Hunter, Strawther or Huff (depending on who pans out or not) will easily surpass what they had last year.
Cheers!

@@TimelessHoopss the thing is every post season with this team somethings been wrong missing players or Dillon brooks just shooting 10 3pt and bricking them out of a win and if post season they bench Adam then they’ll start Clark because they’re teams the best when they have 2 bigs and play Jackson at the 4 , dames gonna be taking a leap this season and morant because of all the controversy is being underrated but he’s a top 20 guy and Luke was huge for they’re team during the lakers series he doesn’t get played to the bench his spacing is crucial infact once he got injured shit went downhill for the grizz and smart is just a massive upgrade from Dillon not a court distraction a better defender (ex dpoy) and a more efficient scorer this core ended 2nd place two years in a row a healthy team can compete wit anybody
