That's interesting, although I somewhat get the feeling if they did do that it may be more likely as a spin off, seeing how dark it could potentially be and the fact it probably wouldn't include any of the characters we are used to. I could be wrong with the darkness reason, just look at the conquest ending (if you want, I don't blame you if you just want to push that into a deep dark corner of your mind to slowly fade from memory over time)

Neptune's mental age can't actually be 13-14. She's clearly shown to have a mature and clever side hidden behind her normal personality. Being Lazy and energetic has nothing to do with age.
I don't know if you knew this or mentioned it since I just jumped to were you display the ages, but the Average height for adult female in Japan is 158cm, Noire is exactly average. So despite Blanc's and Neptune's heights, they could be physically 15-16 for all we know.
The 10 year gap was to show how much power and how long Peachy's nation of Eden been around.
Things work differently in Ultradimension. In Hyperdimension, goddesses are born from shares. They pop out of nowhere in response to the people's prayers (shares), assuming there's enough of it to make one. In Ultradimension, a normal girl has to look for these discs and become worthy of becoming a goddess. That begs the question whether or not Ultradimension has a goddess candidate system in place.
Neptune definitely has a higher mental age, she has shown that, especially in CPU form.

Blanc is not only "legal"; but I've heard that she's actually the OLDEST of the CPUs! Vert is the youngest of them. So in a way, this reminds me of "NekoPara", whereby Azuki -- who is the smallest of the Nekos as well as the one with the most childlike figure -- is actually the OLDEST of the Catgirls; while Coconut -- who is the tallest of the Nekos and has the most lady-like figure -- is actually the YOUNGEST.
In a way, it WOULD make sense for Blanc to be the oldest of the CPUs; as she's a Gamindustri representative of Nintendo consoles. In real life, Nintendo has been in the gaming console industry the longest. Then, the early 1990's brought us the Sega Genesis (which Neptune and Planeptune represent); then in the mid-90's Sony came out with its PlayStation (which Noire and Lastation represent); and then after that, Microsoft came out with its Xbox (which Vert and Leanbox represent).
As for Panasonic (3DO) and Atari (the Jaguar and the Lynx), those weren't any serious threats to Nintendo's dominance in the console market.

Interesting analysis and the physical ages you arrived at are also quite close to the ones I perceived them at.
Although there are some extra thoughts that I wanna add.
The fact that Uzume put so much emphasis on the now old man that she met when he was a boy makes me think that it wasn't just because he never forgot about her, but because it's a miracle of sorts that he's still alive. That gave me the impression that he's probably at a really old age, probably even close to a hundred years old. Doesn't change things a whole lot but that was my impression.
The second thing is the amount of time that probably passed between Victory and VII. The point of evidence is big Nep. At the end of Victory, Croire was captured by that dimension's Neptune, and she thought at first that it was the Neptune that she knew from the rest of the game, that means that big Nep was 12 or 13 years old at that moment, by VII she seems to be around her late teens so 17-19, she looks 19 in my opinion. So 5 to 7 years is the time that most likely passed between both games.
In HDN (PS3), several characters mention being millions of years old. Most of that time was spent in Celestia, with each CPU's time on the continents being short enough that they hadn't yet consolidated their rule over the humans there. These are the oldest versions in the series, but the CPUs of the other dimensions are a lot younger.

you forgot one major thing in the fact that all of the hyperdimension and superdimension CPUs were born as CPUs - as explained in neptunia/re;birth 1 and victory/re;birth 3 - so everyone of the CPUs from those two dimensions are actually zero in physical age
rebirth 3 plutia got a crystal which made her become a cpu so she was aging up to that point, kind of breaks that point although I agree with rebirth 1

I have to disagree on some of the mental ages. Physical ages and actual ages seem spot on. Neptune definitely shows signs of a higher mental age and maturity when faced with actual important situations (I know some may not count this ending, but conquest end Neptune lecturing Nepgear, for example). Her usual sillyness doesn't indicate everything about her. In fact, I could argue she has a higher mental age than Blanc or Noire by not letting trivial things phase her and joke about it, unlike Blanc (chest size) or Noire (afraid of people judging her for cosplaying, lonely heart thing).
You also see the other CPUs follow Neptune's lead when she is in HDD. That indicates they trust her judgement, which means they respect her mental age... *when* Neptune is serious, anyway.

I find, that as I get older, letting the little irritations in life go and just rolling with it is VERY important for my mental and emotional well-being. Neptune does this. Blanc and Noire do not. Plus, Neptune HAS shown the ability to be serious. That much is undeniable. Maybe she doesn't show it enough, true, but it is there. You have not refuted this by pointing out my preference for Neptune. In fact, things like this is a part of my reason of *WHY* I prefer Neptune.

The most damning evidence that Neptune is much more mature than she would have you think is how much and how she flirts with Noire. Children dont really flirt theyre too young for that, but adults quite like it so Neptune has no choice but to do it and hope nobody notices that its something too mature for her persona. And the way she does it is not indicative of a teenager but rather a full grownup, Noires snarky remarks dont phaze her as shes suprimely confident in bough herself and her assesment that Noire is a cundere, where as a teenager would show insecurity and dout when faced with someone who denies and criticizes.

Also I love how red the eyes of Noire and Uni and how purple the eyes of Nepgear and Neptune are in his self made models are. Also also the HHD forms are called [colour] Heart for a reason. Purple Heart is what Neptune (the purple girl) truly wants to be, same as Black Heart being what Noire (the black girl) truly wants to be, not conciously but rather at heart. I think Purple Heart isnt actually less silly than Neptune, rather Neptune is little and joking when shes having fun with her friends, while shes HDD when the time calls for seriousness (her whity cleaver remarks still always shine through when shes demonstrating her confidence in victory). Fly High and Purple Energy are the same song at heart.
If my memory does not fail, Superdimension CPUs are thousands of years, since they said they have been battling in celestia over a thousand years for the console war. Also maybe, just maybe, agein in Gamindustry is not like our world, we have seen compa and IF, along with the makers, to been arround and keep their appearences much likely the same. so maybe, in Gamindustry world, normal people can live up to 200 years as a normal lifetime or maybe even more, but this can also be false since Vert and Rei worry about their age appearence beign more than 20 and close to 30 for Rei(Im sure Rei is 29 years old phisically). Also, peashy must be more than 15 years right now, since in megadimension, even if she does not appear, her age must be arround 20/25+, now that Hyperdimension and Ultradimension time passing has been aligned after the events of Victory. With that said, im guessing that, from MK2/RE2 to Victory/RE3, 10 years have pass, and from Victory/RE3 to Megadimension, i guess it would be much likely the same, 10 years or maybe even 15 years, since we heard from the both Histoires that the portal between Hyperdimension and Ultradimension does not look like closing it any time soon, but when the events of Megadimension happen, the portal is already close. Also this would also explain why events like the Deity of Sin and Rei rampage are told like "Old Storys", hell they dont even call Rei for her name, she is just "Tari's CPU". Megadimension intro say something like this: Gamindustry, a world that have faces problems in the PAST like the Deity of Sin and the ancient CPU of Tari, this sounds like grandpa storys to me, but again, this is just me guessing, a fan who dedicated many hours to Nep games.
i don't see how you got 10 years between MK2 and Victory. The most likely time between games would be 2-3 years. And you mention the portals, the thing is. IF/Ch have a habit of retconning things.

They never mentioned if the portal to Ultradimension ever closed or not (the portal could have been forgotten about during the "CPU Shift Period".) I think Ultradimension may have been trying to locate Plutia and Peashy (who I think traveled to the Superdimension as DLC for Re-Birth 1 or Blanc's Zombie game.) Mind you, Histiore isn't exactly accurate in her assessments sometimes. Also if Cyberdimension is indeed canon to the main Hyperdimension, it would mean that the portal to Ultradimension stabilized on it's own without anyone paying attention (considering both sides of the portal are located within each dimension's Planeptune's borders, it's not that surprising everyone forgotten it. This also explains Ultradimension Arfore and Warechu playing the game. I also remember C-sha being mentioned by a random NPC.

Yea I think Neptune is mentally an adult, shes just lazy af, isnt very responsbile when it comes to mundane afares and just wants to play games and hang out with her friends. I mean Im 23 and playing games and hanging out with friends sounds much more apealing to me than doing paperwork, granted I relate most to Noire and actually made king of my country would work tirelesly to make it better, but an adult woman chosing fun and letting others run her the country for her is not out of the question.

It can really confuse people sometimes when they remember that Blanc is the oldest of the 4 Goddess and Vert is the youngest.
One of the jokes in Neptunia MKV with Blanc giving the babies breast milk is due to Blanc being the oldest.
I actually came up with a theory a few months ago. So we know that CPUs stop aging once they have shares. If they have no shares, their immortality is gone (remember how this was a concern to Vert, as she would start aging again). So with this info, I came to this conclusion:
>Blanc is the oldest. Her physical appearance is the youngest, meaning she stopped aging first. Of the four big companies, Nintendo definitely got a huge amount of shares first.
>Neptune is next. She doesn't look too much older than Blanc, which fits in line with SEGA and Nintendo's rivalry. SEGA grew in popularity thanks to the Mega Drive, which was only a few years after the NES/Famicom.
>Noire is up. Sony didn't come into play until after the SNES. Noire looks to be in her late teens, which would make sense (assuming all 4 CPUs were born at the same time).
>Vert is last. Microsoft didn't release the Xbox until 2001. Because of this, Vert had the most time to let her body mature and develop.

Good video, I’d say your guesses are all fairly accurate within a year or 2 in most cases. I do feel the need to point out that when you have the graphics for lifetime of the 4 CPUs in Hyperdimension at around 25 minutes you say less than 75 years(75). It was bugging me a bit so I thought I’d point it out. Otherwise good video and I look forward to any you make in the future. I’ll keep watching (though probably not commenting as I just don’t like leaving comments on any videos).

I always appreciate lore disscusions for neptunia as i feel it is a unappreciated part of loving the series (the world as a whole is criminally under explored in game) but i dont quite buy some of these ages. The CPU's of the main dimension are not made but born as to how this works we dont know. I always figured that the Main CPUs of the main dimensions are at their physical peak because it just makes since for them to reach the spot where they stop growing at their physical best (since it seems the candidates still grow as they are not yet CPUs). So i always figured that this is how they would look at around the age of 19-21 and that neptune and blanc are just underdeveloped. Just because adult neptune exists does not mean that the Neptune we know would grow to that size as they are both the "Same" and not at the same time as they are from different dimensions and any number of things could change. This is all just makes the most sense to me.

You are considering that Life expectancy in gamindustri is the same as Japan which could be completely wrong.
You are also considering the girls cup size and height have a heavy weight on their age when this might not be the case since some girls develop faster than others
The only thing kind of correct is their mental age since this one has been seen during all the games
Physical age are all guesses (Peashy an exception)
And their total time alive is also mostly based on the 80+ years average life expectancy that we don't know if even applies to Gameindustri (except Peashy)

Debated on whether to respond to this or not, but since it seems a few others agree, I figured I would.
1. Neptune mentions right before the scene with the old man "How have the last couple of decades been?" It's in this video if you wanna look. Not past century, but couple of decades, implying a much shorter time. I used 80 years as the max it could be as the other age expectancies were lower that that. Plus, this game was written for a Japanese audience.
Furthermore, Histoire makes a comment about it being good that Neptune was the one experiencing slower time in rebirth 3 as if it were they other way around, they (meaning the Hyperdimension) would be ancient History. Bottom line, without proof, I'd be hard pressed to believe normal people in the Hyperdimension don't age the same way we do.
2. Reg... Did you miss that part? XD I only really did that for Uzume, and I specifically said: "Not that this means anything... really, it doesn't." Everyone else's physical age I tried to back up with stuff said in the game. Adult Neptune and Abnes with Neptune, Vert's quote on Rei's age, etc. And the four CPUs looking younger despite their company being older and using their Ultradimension counterparts.
4. That's the point of this video man XD They're educated guesses, or Hypothesis, as we don't have an actual number. That's why it's a discussion video. I even said in the beginning "If you're looking for an exact age, many of them don't have them." Plus, Peashy wasn't the only one. We also know Rei's as well.
Finally, to end this off, it seems like you're just looking at this video the wrong way. I said in the beginning, the goal was to get *close*. And in that, I'm confident in. I left a lot of stuff out as I felt it wasn't necessary to add in, and honestly, getting clips for Rebirth 2 are a hassle, but perhaps I should have.

@@Regolant1 He was trying to use in game dialogue as much as possible, but used a single out of game source for this to try and set an upper limit for how old they could be.
He also only actually seems to use this for the main CPUs and Uzume, and only for their actual ages. All the others are very general, with a lot of space to work with. We could say that with Nepgear being at least 18 and younger than Neptune who is at most 75 or 80, Nepgear could be 74 or just 19. He doesn't give a specific number for their actual ages, just likely ranges for how old they COULD be.
All his physical and mental ages are estimates based on events and dialogue in the games and anime, or estimates from the development of women in real life, as that is all we have to go on. We can give a physical or mental age to anyone, we don't really say "they look like a late developing 18 year old" if we don't know their actual age. If we don't know their actual age, we might guess they look 15 or 16.
It is clear these are all educated guesses and estimates, so we have to take it with a grain of salt, but it is more likely to be closer to what the truth is than everyone who took or two lines of dialogue over a game and came to the conclusion that they are all centuries old. I was thinking that, but wasn't sure before, but now I have a slightly better idea. That is what the intent of this video is in my opinion.
As far as if this is Idea Factory's fault, it definitely is, but I think it is kind of fun and interesting for the community to come together and try to discuss about this stuff, it is almost like we are building the world ourselves, whether that is different from what IF has in mind, who knows. We are creating the history and lore from what information we can piece together, and I find that amazing. Of course seeing an official statement on any of this would be nice, but in the mean time we can just continue developing our own Neptunia World.

Also, while you do admit,84 probably isn't an exact number, we gotta remember that he had to be at least a couple years old to insult her in the first place and considering he was still up and about enough to run into her, I'd peg him to be a little younger, but maybe he's just a really energetic old man. Anyways, I enjoyed the video, it gave me something to think about while I was cutting potatoes for Thanksgiving.

Yes, in the Nisa English dubs of the first 3 games a lot of stuff was changed. IF now does their own English translation to be more accurate to the original Japanese scripts since the start of the Re-Birth trilogy.

That's a different Noire. That's what I was trying to explain in the beginning. That's part of the confusion
rebirth one takes place in the superdimenton, the cpus from rebirth 2 ,3 and vii/viir are from the hyperdimenton, ultradimenton and zerodimenton. there has yet to be a game where the CPUs from the hyperdimenton meat the cpus of the superdimenton. so the only versions of the cpus that are over 1000+ years old are from the superdimenton.
In the rebirth one, all the candidates are new born. So don't mix pudding with jelly.

Just wanna correct you a bit, what you have just said is the rule in Ultra dimension (which Plutia belongs to). In the main dimension, the CPUs are born with those bodies and don't grow up (that's mentioned in a dialogue in V II, IIRC).

I agree with most of what you said but I do have to say it is entirely possible for you to look like blanc and be in your 20's and above and not look like a teen but a grown adult. So it all depends on how you look at it or want to perceive it but I totally get where your coming from :)

Aging Neptune at around 13-14 makes sense, cause throughout the series characters mistake Nepgear as the older sister based on how they look.

I believe they are the same age as the Console's they represent. the Sega Neptune was created in 1995 but was canceled Neptune would be 23 years old. The X-Box was created in 2001 so this year Vert would be 17. Nintindo's home console was created in 1983 so Blanc would be 35. The Playstation was created in 1998 so Noir is 20 years old this year. So the oldest is Blanc and the youngest is Vert
That can't be true. Uzume's the Dreamcast and she's the oldest. The Dreamcast was made in 1998 and she's definitely older than 20 years old. The GameGear was made in 1990, making Nepgear 28, older than most of the other CPUs. We know that's not true.

Have we even heard of a situation where that actually happens? We only know the current CPUs and Candidates, as well as Uzume and Uranus. As Senpai Blade suggests, Uranus may have been the Candidate for Uzume before she sealed herself away, and there was a Candidate for Lowee, who probably died fighting the Deity of Sin. Those are the only 2 possibly even 1 candidates we have heard of other than the current 4, and only one of them possibly replaced their previous older sister. Also doesn't Kurome say that she created a new CPU for them to follow instead of her? To me this suggests that Uranus was created to take the place of where Uzume used to be. I may be remembering this wrong.

The people claiming characters are hundreds of years old are likely referring to Ultradimension Blanc (who I seem to recall was hundreds of years old when Plutia became a CPU), and the four CPUs from the first game/Re:Birth 1 (who iirc had literally been trying to kill each other for at least hundreds if not thousands of years in Celestial).

Height and behavior don't factor in to age. There is a difference between how a kid and a short adult look. That goes for most of the Neptunia cast. All if them are the same age in any form. They don't get older just because they get taller. If that was the case Uni would become younger. As far as Uni goes if Nepgear is legal I say Uni is. As for Neptune,Plutia and Blanc they may be short but they don't look like kids to me. Hell the same could be said about Nepgear and Uni. They are what are called petites. Whom exist in real life you know. So it makes perfect sense to me that they are legal. Which is how I always knew that. Which is all I needed to know.😏
I think specifying that anything outside the Hyperdimension games is not "canon" is actually blatantly incorrect as the series introduced the concept of multdimensions. Pretty sure the four main goddesses are a thousand year old in the original Neptunia and Re;birth 1 and the original Goddess was much older. Of course in that dimension there's no Uzume or Plutia or any of those other additional Goddesses.
Aside from that the ages seem pretty spot on. Though the Ultradimension ages are not hard to figure out since the game more or less tells you about the time skips.
You'd figure we'd have a data book for this. I dunno if we do now, but the few Neptunia games I've played, with all the info they give on characters, age should be the first things they give on their bios. Especially for RATED M games, THAT LEWDS THEM mind you. I cant tell you how confusing the whole thing about them not physically aging once they're CPUs is
