My Dream Come True: Walnut on Keyboard

MODE DESIGNS - MODE SONNET
Switches: Vintage Cherry MX Black (G80-1501HAD)
Plate: Carbon Fiber
*no foam, only silicon base
Finally, I got walnut accent on my Sonnet!
It suits perfectly with the cream body.
I wanted to test how PBT keycaps and ABS keycaps differ from each other.
[White keycaps: PBT/ Burgundy keycaps: ABS]
Although the sound of the surroundings is quite different(I cannot control it..), overall ABS had more crisp sound while PBT had more thick sound.
The typing feel was quite different too.
I'm not sure if it's a psychological thing, but the ABS feels more lighter too.
the weight difference should be very tiny.

I usually only use abs keycaps like gmk, but I like pbt keycaps on this build more than the abs ones because I think the thick sounding nature of the pbt keycaps pairs well with the deep sounding wood keycaps.

Yes. From what I’ve experienced, they sound a little lower(or heavier) than plastic ones but not as heavy as ceramic or metal ones.
I think, pitch-wise
ABS(highest)>>PBT>wood>>>ceramic>metal(lowest)
