Cheers for making this video, more info than any of the marketing. I've got a few nice watches, but always conscious of wearing them day to day, think one of these might be the solution.
Great video, with the always on faces is it possible to have the full face constantly on and not the slightly minimised version of the full watch face??
A great review thanks.I have just replaced my E2 with a 42mm and I have an Iphone .I was disappointed to see there is no control to change vibrations for notifications like my E2 had, I have contacted T.H. and they have had many comments like this, so their tech dept is looking into.Would you have any further info regarding this? Kind regards, David in the U.K.
DONT BUY THIS WATCH! I bought this giant POS this time last year. You cant see it in the sunlight, the battery life is terrible, doesnt even last all day for me sometimes. Its a PITA to constantly charge. Your hand constantly bumps the crown which is a button that starts the health ap, so you wind up running the app unintentionally which drains the battery even further. The more apps you run, the faster this thing dies. Yeah, it looks nice, I got lots of compliments on it. But then, after 1 year the watch suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason. So I sent it back to Tag Heuer for "warranted" repairs. After 2 weeks there, they sent me an email and estimate for over $900 for repairs, stating they were not warranted with no explanation as to why. This is not the service I expect when I spend $2000 on a watch. Especially from a big company like Tag Heuer. Ive been a fan of Tag for over 25 years. I own 2 other analog watches (A Kirium Chrono, and an Aquaracer), but this will certainly be my last Tag.
I really like it still for me the biggest disappointment is the lack of a speaker so you can't make or receive calls on the watch itself it would be nice sometimes but not a deal breaker if you want a nice smart watch that gives you notifications but looks like a real watch then it's a winner
Great video mate ! Quick question: Does the iPhone recognise when you have taken the watch off? For example if I am waring my Apple Watch and then take it off I will start getting notifications on my iPhone again - hope the Tag is the same.
I believe so I but I will check into it more tomorrow and let you know Most the time when it’s not on my wrist I have been turning the watch off and storing it in Watch box so I can’t say for sure but when I have taken it off the charge it’s still on then and the notifications all come to my iPhone I can say it definitely doesn’t integrate with the iPhone as well as the Apple Watch they are made to work together perfect
To answer your question directly Yes when you take to watch off it automatically goes into do not disturb mode so nothing is pushed to the watch and all your notifications will be on your phone only
Awesome it will be an adjustment that’s for sure it’s really different experience to an Apple Watch but it’s really nice to look at that’s for sure I still constantly look at mine it’s so shiny haha not even to check the time haha
I get a full day of battery lifewith no problem i always put it on charge every night, but I would probably get two days if I didn't [charge it every night]. But if you charge every night, then you get a full day of battery life with no problems.
@@ThatTechGuy01thanks mate. There seem to be two modes of “always on”. A dimmed one you show at the beginning of the video, and the “full one” when you tap on it, and the watch’s face comes “alive”. Is it possible for the watch to keep the full, undimmed face at all times? As you said, you’ll be hard to tell this isn’t a smartwatch, but that’s when the full face is on with all full texture and details. Which is only on for few seconds, and then it goes back to the more basic, “smartwatchy” one again. I’m on the fence with buying this one, it does look beautiful with the full undimmed face but if it doesn’t stay on it’s a bit of a bummer.
@@ThatTechGuy01 thanks for confirming. This is how all ads are showing smartwatches, all focus is on the faces which are only visible for few seconds when you’re looking at them. 99% of time it’s not how they look like. I guess I understand now the appeal of real mechanical watches that look great 24/7. There’s supposed to be Tag Connected E5 early next year, maybe there will be some breakthroughs in the batter that would allow a true “always on” for longer.
Not sure I haven’t looked into it I don’t believe it has anything installed from the factory but you may be able to install something from the google play store not sure if this is a watch I would like to sleep in but it’s pretty big and heavy
Battery life is great for me I easily get a day with it no problem sometimes a few days depending on use but battery life was never an issue for me just count on charging it at the end of every day like most smart watches
@paulspencervideo actually it's been very very good , after an update the battery last 2 days, works perfect and looks awesome , I always get compliments on it . I do recommend it
MErci pour ta video

No I haven't used that watch sorry
Can you adjust the size of the link bracelet?
Yes you can it has pins
Any kind of sleep tracking features? My wife’s Garmin provides awesome insights.
I’m not really sure I have never tried it for sleep tracking
I have this watch & iPhone. How do you set up Google pay? 🤯
I’m trying to figure that out Myself! 😢
Tag exterior with Chinese internals, open your mind Quaid👁👃🏻👁
do you still have the watch? any disappointments with him? I'm thinking of buying one....

¡hello!, good video.. friend, this model is supposed to include a rubber strap, ¿correct?..
Hey, you can get it on a rubber strap or the stainless braclet like I did the rubber strap also cost less
Great video mate !

@@ThatTechGuy01 Thank you so much! I've ordered mine.
I've watched a lot of reviews on CZcams and yours is by far the best!

How long does it last with “always on” display? The watch looks stunning but only if you can actually enjoy its custom faces.
I get a full day of battery lifewith no problem i always put it on charge every night, but I would probably get two days if I didn't [charge it every night]. But if you charge every night, then you get a full day of battery life with no problems.

Unfortunately, that is not possible. I would also choose that way if I could. this is how all smartwatches work. I have yet to find one that doesn't.

Can you provide details on battery life
Battery life is great for me I easily get a day with it no problem sometimes a few days depending on use but battery life was never an issue for me just count on charging it at the end of every day like most smart watches
I read normally it last at most a day and a half.
Leider ist immer noch die alte Software oben! Seit über 2 Jahren! Schade schade
I wanna buy this watch so bad , but it's hard for me to drop $2,500 on a watch that will only last me 2 years , for that price it should last longer
Yeah I agree that’s the problem with smart watches and Technology in general in a few years it’s obsolete
I actually ordered the watch. I caved ! .. how's yours holding up ? Do you still recommend it after these past 8months ?
@@jrighteous1984 How you getting on? They do look beautiful don't they? Still managed to hold off but I'm close to caving too!
@paulspencervideo I actually caved and bought like a month after this comment ! Lol I'm wearing it now
