With little research, We headed to the south bust= station in Cebu to take a public bus down to Moalboal. We thought this would be simple but as always, things are slightly different when it comes to the Buddymoon.
We were served snacks on the public bus and got Buko. Buko Pie is a coconut tart that almost "Killed" Dan, hahaha :)

The reason why they’re giving you a ticket from the bus because they will be taking in passengers along the trip. So when someone check led your ticket they wont mistakenly ask you to pay again. The bus and terminal ticket should match hence you already paid from the terminal. Just a manual thing to do.

Hey guys…. a little tip: Avoid sitting in the back of the bus, it’s the bumpiest area. 😵💫😵💫😵💫 Try sitting in the middle instead. ☺️☺️☺️

Thank you for pointing out the highway situation there. Cebu govt or DPWH should take note of this.
Actually the roads in Cebu are in very good condition. The ride was bumpy only because they are seated at the rear seats of the bus that is almost empty and the speed of the bus along a national road should be a lot faster than on city roads. If the bus were at least at more than 70% full, the ride could have been smoother but rear seats always get bumpy when the bus picks up speed even on city roads. I don't know why foreigners always choose to be seated at the rear seats when there are empty seats on the forward part of the bus..
It's really nice to see animals in the wild and not in captivity. The experience is priceless and something that you can treasure for the rest of your life.

That coconut pie looks good! Personally, eating while riding on a bumpy ride is not a good idea. You’re risking vomiting. Best location to ride on a bus is in the middle where it’s less bumpy.

Your bus ride was bumpy because you sat at the back portion of the bus. The front portion has a better suspension and has a better view (especially the frontmost seat beside the driver). You should try sitting in front next time :)

If you're after giant turtles, the place to be is Apo Island, just south of Dumaguete City. It's a marine sanctuary so there are many, many of these turtles literally yards away from the shoreline.

Almost left behind by the bus, the little food incident, the long walk then the amazing shot while swimming with the sardines and turtles, what sticks to me the most is when Dan said sorry to Leanne because of choosing to walk under the sun. That is just so sweet. 😊

If you set more toward the middle of the bus. It is less bumpy. Each area of the philippines offers different vendors that will get on and off bus selling different types of drinks and food. Enjoy your journey.

Reminds me of when I was living in Vegas and saw tourists walking on the sidewalk lugging their luggages because they thought the Strip, seen from the airport, was very close to it. LOL! Buco Pie = Buco or Buko is young coconut. If you come across it, try pineapple pies.
The multiple tickets. It is probably because they pick up more passengers along the way and the ticket from the onboard operator shows where you started your paid trip (I'm just guessing). That trip is so shaky, I'd probably have a vertigo attack. 13:50 Aww, that is beautiful.
Awesome sardine run and with you guys swimming with turtle. You're lucky you got to experience both. I guess choosing to swim there early is the best, not many tourist yet and low tide is better. You can experience the whale shark in Oslob :-)

What an epic underwater scene with the sardines and how cool it was to capture the turtle taking a breath in between its glide at the bottom. You two look cute with nature. Try to scuba or go snorkeling for other beautiful marine life and colorful corals in Moalboal or Badian. They are famous for diving and colorful corals. Nice you had a guide. Some vloggers prefer to just swim on their own and check out the sardines and turtles but if you have a guide like you had, he not only guided you to the spot but also took picturesque videos. I sure will take him specifically..
