Make a proper resume. Don't be a joker during your interview also bring a folder with hard copy of resume and reference sheet! Be prepared for a few questions such as why you are interested in working at so and so company and why you would be an asset.

Alejandro Serrano Understand the position you are applying for and highlight your skill sets especially the ones that will help you excel in whatever position it is you are applying for. It all depends on you man! Make sure you are as relaxed and not too tense and smile. People respond better to people who look friendly!
Never worked retail before but a lot of these things apply really well outside of this field. And yeah, I agree, group interviews are tough as they are only a quick snapshot of a candidate in a very short and rigid timeframe.

Damn my issue is that I'm not confident and I start tripping over my words when i just ask for the application. These tips were useful so I can use them in the future and hopefully get a job soon.

half your pay goes to shoes because you start to love shoes and collect them b/c its one of the perks to not pay full price lool. But if u got your priorities in check, its a great place to gain more experience.

they asked questions like what i do to stay motivated, what i think will be the biggest challenge for me, in the next 2 years what will i contribute to the company, am i afraid of heights, why i want to work at foot locker, and thats all i remember. it went okay but it was my first interview so i thought it could've went way better. He made me fill out a bunch of paperwork and said i would have a follow up interview but i never heard from the manager since my interview.

Just one question, what should you wear to the interview? After researching a little, one former employee at Champs said that they wore a blazer and khakis and were overdressed for the job. I know it's better to be overdressed than underdressed, but I wanted to know the minimum expectation. Thank you.
+Ryan / OhRW No probelmo man! Thanks for watching! & I would say a black/white/navy polo shirt would be fine + khakis. I ended up going with a suit jacket and white button up shirt lol. I 100% overdressed. They can't take points off for over dressing though, underdressing is another story! :P You can also go with a button up and a cardigan too

Walk in and ask an employee that's not busy if the store is hiring if they say yes ask if you could fill out an application. Your parents probably have experience getting jobs talk to your mom/dad or a older sibling even. They might have good advice.
