The soccer fan base is billions of people compared to American sports where it’s just millions. Big clubs like United, Chelsea, City, Liverpool have all gotten money through investors and club profits(Merch/tickets) there’s billions on billions of dollars flowing through these clubs even with a pandemic going on these clubs are still able to acquire billions of dollars with only small cuts in their budgets.
