The difference between Ronaldo and Messi is that Ronaldo is a player of big and decisive games who can change and win a very tough and what seems to be impossible for his team to win. He is a player who doesn't need other best players in his team to be great unlike Messi who needs best players around him to be great and to win. Ronaldo is a man who can win big wars fought on all battle grounds could be premie league, Laliga, Serie A, Champions league and International competitions on his own while Messi is a player who needs best team mates around him to win a war and has won most of his wars on one battle ground and that is Laliga, a league with relatively weak defence,lesser intensity and physicality!

Both games was absolutely mesmerising from messi, I personally hadn’t seen performances like that against us and he did it twice. To say he doesn’t show up in games is ridiculous. Since 2010/11- 2019 (when the site produced these stats) messi has scored 136 goals compared to ronaldos 131 in 133 appearances each (obviously the stat will be different now but it’s still fairly recent). By big games this stat showed games against top 4 teams in the league, champions league knockout games, domestic trophy games in the semis and final, international games like World Cup etc. Messi still shows up in big games even if ronaldo maybe does show up more

There’s usually only 2 reasons for the goalkeeper to not move to defend a kick. Either the thought of the ball possibly missing the goal to the sides or the speed of the kick being so damn fast that will actually delay your brain response and reflexes.

Notice when ronaldo shoots a free kick meaning he gets to shoot outside the box cuz there was a foul. He never curves it he kicks it perfectly without any spin so the ball goes dips and goes up and fools the goal keeper. Notice how he kicks the ball when he shoots a free kick he doesn't follow through with the kick he stops his leg as soon as he kicks the ball. That makes the ball go like as if a pitcher pitched a ball. He's a fucking genius and he is so athletic he keeps improving he keeps on finding mistakes in his game even at this age. Are you guys aware that in soccer 9 out of 10 times your weak foot is almost useless for shooting accurately ...especially for long range shooting. And even to have that power and accuracy from so far with the dominant foot is rare...is “curryesque in basketball terms” and if goals outside the area equaled 2 instead of one goal he would be the record holder by now.

goalies dont try because its going over the wall, its the goalies blind spot in those situations, usually a player will try to go around the wall to the side that the goalie si guarding. It takes really talented players to take advantage of the wall and score, some people shoot it under the wall so when the players jump, some shoot it over like ronaldo, some wrap the ball around the wall where the blind spot is, goalie cant react cause its too late :p
