What Happens When I Put My Arm in a High Pressure Chamber ? Will It Be Crushed?

- In this video I put my arm in a high pressure chamber! Previously I had put my arm in a vacuum chamber to experience the effects of space on the body. Since then I have had many requests to see what a high-pressure environment does to the body. This was a little difficult because as soon as it builds up pressure it shoots my arm out of the chamber. I built a self-sealing pressure seal around my arm that temporarily holds the pressure until it shoots my arm out. It was amazing to actually feel the air heat up as it compressed in the chamber around my hand.

LOL!! awesome. High pressure is safer than vacuum here, because even if the pressure difference is the same or even greater, you don't get that pressure from inside of your arm - as you said, it pushes the blood back instead (wich is not at all as bad, unless you have extemely high pressure)

What will happen if you put a deflated tennis ball or ping pong over a long period of time. I am planning to make it in my house because I have a bigger idea so I want to see if it works on small scale.

Yeah, there is a lot more data for humans in high pressure than low pressure. Only thing I was afraid of in this one is my hand catching too hard as the bottle shot off.

Why didnt you stick a metal stick or atleast something trought the bottle, then glue it on with a hot glue gun or atleast something. Then you can hold your hand in the bottle by grabbing the stick.
