Same here. What makes it so refreshing is that Moon Knight is such a cool and Badass character who doesn’t get nearly enough love. His origin is a bit complicated and hearing it told in such clean and clear way truly helps seeing Moon Knight in a brand new light. I love it!

after watching the Marvel's *Moon Knight* trailer series for Disney + I decided to check his origin here *(Great video btw)* because I know little to nothing about #MoonKnight and now

Nicely done. You should add his first appearance in Werewolf by night #32. Marc was bitten by the werewolf thus giving him added strength which can be attributed to the lunar cycle.
Nah Konshu gave him his power's. Konshu is real.
@@ghost_kinggamer You're both right. In the original comics it was initially claimed that Moon Knight had enhanced strength as a result of his encounter with Werewolf By Night. It was later re-written so that his powers came from Khonshu.
@@Wright805 Also, Marc's alternate personalities are the result of Khonshu contacting Marc when he was a child. It's Marc's brain trying to replicate the multi faceted personality of Khonshu.

I'm here after the announcement of Oscar Isaac playing Marc Spector/Moon Knight. I hope they do this origin and character justice.
Well moon knight is definitely a bit darker than most heroes in the MCU, so if they chose him to be apart of it they have to do his character justice

Great video as always. But trying to incorporate modern Marvel stories with the classic continuity is increasingly impossible. Since 2015 editorial standards and consistency are non-existent. I just consider all that stuff as bad non-fan fiction.

They are both ripoffs of the same character. The Shadow.
First of all, Moon Knight is a Badass character. Second of all, Moon Knight can be compared to Batman since both characters use stylized gadgets based on their respected motifs. They’re both millionaires and they use their talents, skills, and resources to fight crime as caped costumed vigilantes. With all that being said I think there’s way more to Moon Knight than Batman. Moon Knight is an extremely compelling and complicated character who in my opinion has a lot more to offer solely based on the character and situations himself. I will say that Batman has a much better Rogues Gallery that’s filled with exciting and compelling characters but in the end I still give it to Moon Knight. He’s just much more interesting and intriguing of a superhero. I love the character and I can’t wait to see how Marvel handles Moon Knight in the MCU.
