You missed three main things
1. You need a high resolution audio file ( .flac, .wav etc)
2. Need a music player to bypass default Android audio subsystem and gain full control over the dac.
( HibyMusic , Neutron player etc )
3. Headphone/ earphone which supports full audible frequency range( prefer one with dual driver))

If possible, purchase an IEM with a balanced connection and a DAC with a balanced output; you will be blown away. Of course, to get the most out of this setup, utilize flac or any other lossless files.
I use Apple Lossless, which is fantastic in my opinion.

yes. ഞാനും അത് പറയാൻ പോകുവായിരുന്നു.. യൂടൂബിൽ പ്ലേ ചെയ്താൽ DAC work ചെയ്യില്ല.. android ന്റെ processing ആണ് കിട്ടുക. DAC work ചെയ്യണമെങ്കിൽ USB dac support ചെയ്യുന്ന music player App വേണം (im using FiiO Music) . അതിൽ USB direct output enable ചെയ്ത് flac / wav files പ്ലേ ചെയ്താൽ ആണ് external DAC work ആവുക.. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഫോണിന്റെ ഓഡിയോ തന്നെയായിരിക്കും വരുന്നത്. im using CCA LYRA in-ear monitor & ifi go link DAC.
@@sreekuze. Agree, but personally I prefer Neutron player. It is a paid app. Neutron has superior audio settings /options. Filo is good, but HibyMusic is better than Filo.
the 2nd ic MAX97220A is an audio amp specifically made to drive headphone speakers 16 to 32ohms. the first ic CX31993 is the DAC and its already used in some of smartphones modern smartphones come with DACs with built-in headphone amplifier

ഞാൻ ഈ DAC amplifier ഇൽ വർക്ക്‌ ചെയ്യിച്ചു നോക്കി. Claritty ഉണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ ഈ DAC ഉപയോഗിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒരു 30 ശതമാനത്തിലധികം സൗണ്ട് വയ്ക്കുമ്പോൾ BASS പൂർണമായും ഇല്ലാതാകുന്നു. മാത്രമല്ല ഫുൾ വോളിയം വച്ചാലും മുമ്പുണ്ടായിരുന്ന അത്രയും വോളിയം കിട്ടുന്നില്ല. എന്തുകൊണ്ടാണെന്ന് പറയാമോ.
എന്തെങ്കിലും fault ഉണ്ടാവും. Contact ചെയ്തു Replace ചെയ്തു നോക്കു

Yes the dac chip itself isn't mind-blowing but the build quality is really good. But 2k was definitely a stretch

We can access huge library of hi res files
(1) Why we are after C-port and DAC where we have 3.5mm jack ?
(2) Higher resolution cannot go beyond studio quality (1200-1500kbps) songs, right ?
(3) Like mp3, FLAC files are lossless studio quality music files. We can play FLAC files in our phones, ie, real studio quality sound. Note- When you play FLAC files, use only wired headphones which support 1500kbps easily and sound as it is.. The Bluetooth headset never support higher kbps. There is no meaning in having 3000kbps DAC if the original studio quality is only 1500kbps.
(4) I have been using FLAC files and flac player in my iphone to hear original studio quality sound from my old 3.5mm sound jack. I always use wired head phone.
1. Removal of 3.5 jack was simply to sell wireless earphones. We are after DACs because most of the smartphones or PCs can't go beyond 16 bit 44.1 khz processing. So if you need 24 bit or hi res you'll need a dedicated dac with built in amp chip to drive high impedance headphones. LG used to have built in quad dac and amp setup by default
2. Hi Res isn't simply about the data bit rate but about the bit depth and resolution. Nowadays studios release 24 bit 96 khz audio generally. Even high end studios does release DSD which have 20 MBps for stereo to 985 MBps for multi-channel ( there are lot of formats and bit rates in between)
3. MP3 is lossy compressed format while FLAC, WAV, AIFF etc are uncompressed. And the wired earphone is simply an analogue device so the data comparison doesn't make sense. All the digital to analogue conversation happens at the dac inbuilt/ external
The meaning of the dac isn't simply about hi res specs. Dacs use different dac chips and different implementation which makes the musical experience totally different. Try to listen your same earphone with an external dac and you will know it
