This guy took the time to share his project with you, why bash it. If he likes it then let him like it. People need to get a life instead of a negative opinion
I think that using the rhino liner to save the car was a pretty genius choice. Not lining the whole car was a great idea to. It’s like God gave you lemons and you made lemonade. Nice job
Thanks Mike!
1. It's definitely original
2. It actually looks pretty freaking cool.
Thank you!
Why is everyone hating on it? It looks way more badass than it used to. Just splurge a few more grand on it and add a performance air intake, a turbocharger, and a long pipe exhaust and that thing will be flying.
LOL-Thanks!
Get ported mass airflow first before the new air intake stuff. Why spend money when air is gunna restrict there anyway
Yeah uh not with 245s on the rear 😂
Just don't get it why folks can just hate on him for salvaging a challenger from hail damage then rhino lining half the car which in my opinion looks great. I enjoyed your video and tips and look forward to more of (nooks and crannies) videos on (how to) bounce back from a major L . 👌🏾👍🏽 keep up the good work
Car looks friggin nice to be a savage dented up wreck. Definitely awesome work done here on a budget. 👍🏽
Thanks Tony.
hey i saw you put God bless at the end of all your videos, are you a Christian? i was wandering cause I am
Zachary Lewis When you say God Bless it doesn't mean your Christian. I could be Jewish ever thought of that? Hmmm go find a friend brother. I'm not the one God bless Christian.

TonyBlanco170 and why are you telling me that when your not a Christian?
I am buying an SXT this week. I can't wait to paint the rims. Thanks for the good info.
A factory SRT-8 spoiler would seriously finish this thing!
true
I'm going to look into that. Thanks😄👍
the rhino liner is a good idea. Dont know of any other cost effective way to clean up the hail damage. Good thinking!
Thanks Stark Cloud!
hope ya got every nook & crany
Considering the before pic of hail damage. He did a good job of hiding the damages. He also made it look unique.
All that matters is its your work and you like the way your car turned out. Screw all the haters!
Thanks.

love that grill, makes the front look so much more badass
Nice save! Great Job on out of the box thinking.
Nicely done. Some good tips and tricks. Glad you called yourself an idiot for not taking the wheels off before painting. I was thinking "why doesn't he take the wheels off." Glad you answered that.
Thank you !
I can dig it looks really good for being totaled plus its different which is nice.
Thank you!
I like the look of the car with the hood scoop and the black wheels look so much better. The rhino liner isn't my favorite thing ever, but it looks so good in moderation. Good idea not covering the entire car. You have a sick Challenger man, I love it
Thank you!!
i rhino lined my truck and love it seals it in for a worry free drive
Rhino line made this car look like a piece of junk but I gotta give it you man, It is unique. It's just my opinion. Who gives a shit as long as you like your car that way.
True- I like it much better than it was with the hail damage.
Dude that sucks! What state did this happen in? Looks way better!
Screw the people saying its ugly, easily one of the cooler Challengers i've seen done funky haha. that Liner was a great idea, looks goofy, hides the damage, is different but also does look cool in its own regard.
That's a sweet ride. Who cares what people say man. It's your car. Looks sweet knowing it was a salvage car. Outstanding job to you and your son. It's different. But sweet! Love the phantom grill on it.
I did the same thing with my 2002 Frontier after it was damaged with hail. Car looks great!!!!
I love what you did with the rims, really cool. And the Rhino liner on the body, wow. Really nice. I love how it looks almost matte black. Truly beautiful
Your eyes must refresh much faster than mine if you can read writing on a tire of a moving car.
I can't but when its parked I can read it fine.
Lol
great job buddt I reallt liked the rims they shine more then plastic dip..Im going to paint mine like your awesome job.
One Bad Ass Challenger! Great Job 👍
The Rhino Liner actually gave it a more aggressive look👍👺. Looks like something that Mad Max would be behind the wheel of!
LOL- actually that was what I was after. mad max all the way
Your car is awesome. If you were to do over again the one tiny thing I think you should do is continue the rhino forward on to the front bumper to make it look like the hood line extends all the way to the end. Roadkill did that with the paint job on their general maintenance hellcat charger and it looks super old school.
I think it looks solid! Definitely unique. Always wondered what rhino liner would look like on a car.
Really like what you did with the tires!
Thanks for sharing your out-of-the-box solution with us. I did start freaking out just a little bit when you get ready to dump nails on it until you got close enough for me to realize it was not stock shiny paint . I know a lot of people on here do not seem to agree with the rhino lining idea but it had to be much cheaper than trying to get all the hail damage fixed . Personally I probably would have done at least the rest of the body down from that line the same way but that's my taste . This is yours and I applaud you for doing what you wanted with it!
Plus, now you have a very interesting and different look going for it instead of having it look like all the others.
This car is dope I like the rhino lining it's unique... Love how u have your son in the vids helping out as well... great job saving money
Several haters in the comment section.
The dude took a totaled out car and flipped it into something that is unique and actually pretty cool. I thought you showed great restraint on the liner. Car looks cool man!
Thanks!
I love every nook and cranny of that black beauty
I did not like the way it looked but near the end of the video it grew on me. kinda mad max style going for it, the grill looks cool
Miraculous transformation...
The first thing I did last year before I even drive my challenger home was install a phantom grill on mine. It totally completes the look in my opinion.
Add some Bullbars. Headlamps. and Armor plating on the windows and you will truly be my Superman
Looks good at the front bumper and hood. After that all the rhino lining shit looks terrible. Bad color and makes the car looks like it was textured with drywall then painted.
😂😂😂
it had hail damage that's to cover it up
Imp Dimp I woulda rhino lined the whole thing at least so it looks uniform and professional
mitch ishere I know right. The grill looks nice and stuff, But the Rims,Hood, and rhino liner looks terrible on it.
What would you have done to cover up hail damage moron. lemming
Looks very nice, glad I found your channel.
very unique car looks awesome. definitely gonna turn some heads.
And this is why you buy a salvage car to restore it yourself and save a ton of money in the process. Nicely done stan I like these vids on the challenger.
And I had a lot of Fun- I knew I couldn't mess it up to bad hahahaha
Right! haha! You should put a loud exhaust kit on that beast.
I did this too. I took my rims off though enabling me to dress up the brake caliper too. And I used Plasti=Dip so I can change the color quickly and easily.
What color did you do the brake caliper?
I think the Rhino Liner is very unique and creative. If only the whole car had that. It's like a rally wrap. Also, I love the car stickers.
Great idea, and a cheap way to repair hail damaged vehicles. Thanks for the post.
that was some good thinking outside the rhino box.
Thanks Liam!
Pretty freaking dope man!!! 👌🏽
Whos hatin'? Ride is SICK!!!!!!!
good on you man, it takes balls to do stuff like this, haters gonna hate.
don't listen to the haters, it's original and you did it yourself, that's what it's all about. kudos keep doin what you enjoy
Good stuff Stan. I painted my rims with black Plasti Dip and a clear coat Plasti Dip. Came out really good after 2 years I needed to touch it up because the New England Winter. Was going to paint them like you did but decided if I ever want to sell the car and the buyer doesnt want black rims i can take a knife and cut the Plasti Dip right off
Good Point Anthony- what I did was a little more permanent- I can't go back now
Stanley, I have a Dodge Challenger and a Ford Mustang that I am featuring on my CZcams channel "Robs Custom Creations." I have to give you credit, as your work is "innovative," makes a "statement" of who you are, and represents a unique "signature" of what you stand for. People have different "likes" and "dislikes" regarding taste & preference. Keep up your "innovative" style. Best regards, Rob from "Robs Custom Creations."
at first i thought the rhino liner was fugly... then i heard the hail damage part, and i kinda liked it after that
The rhino lining is badass. Makes it looks mean
I must say you are really creative came out good man
Thanks!
you should put a a gold 1inch thick pinstripe or less in between the rhino and the paint the goes with the curve..... it would look even cleaner
Nice advice! Thanks!
I'm a Camaro guy to the core but gotta admit that's a bad ass Challenger. See ya on the streets!!!!
👍
Late to video lol. Car looks great!!
I just got my Challenger RT 2023, gonna paint my rims the exact way you did 🙌🏼 Great video btw
what kind of glue did you use for the stickers?
Wheel Spacers lowering spings for icing but it does look sick
"U gotta get in there and scrub boy" 😆
Great videos man! You sir have earned yourself a new subscriber.
Awesome- Thanks Jamie!
A great reason to not put your advertisements on your wheels is because when that vehicle is moving, those tires will be turning and your advertisement becomes a blur...😂😂
yep-your right.
nice job putting the wheel brush on the pavement
way to save a challenger that didn't have much of a future. very unique look!
Throw that beast on jack stands, sand with a Fein and save some masking.
Looks sweet- Rhino Liner and all!
Doing great with that dodge.Best price and looks for the miles, cant compare my friend. Well done!
Thank you!
Those tires and wheels really POP!. I like it. Good job. -John
Thanks John!
The true meaning of life after death for the car... Love the different blacks... Looks mean...
Admire anyone who wants to DIY their car. But, personally I'd recommend taking the wheels off the car to paint. not only to save the labor on masking, but because it actually allows you to get the inside of the rim, which looks better on close inspection and has less risk of peeling. no real need to take the tire off, but if you let all the air out of the tire, you can slide cue cards or something similar between the tire and rim, allowing the paint to get deeper into the rim edge. Also, since the lug nuts are chrome, the paint likely won't stick long term, especially if you had to remove the wheel. better off using a set of black anodized (or powder coated) lug nuts from the aftermarket.
I may have to get those lug nuts-Thanks for the heads up on them. I did scuff up the rims and lugs very well before painting.
I know this is old but this thing looks mean to me! Good job man!
the first project with the rhino liner made me skeptical but it really looks nice now 👌 i would have used a stencil and flat paint for the tires so they last but cutting out a stencil is a project in itself. thanks for the upload!
Thanks Eduardo :)
People complaining about the car looking bad probably didn't watch the entire video and see the damage done to the top body. The rhino liner while not ideal for everyone saved this car from looking trashed.
I dont usually care for coatings like plasti/rhino.....but your car looks sweet!
Thank you !
man brah dis car is just so amazing mane good job brah.
Thank you Dwayne! Appreciate it👍
That's one unique challenger
Thanks Michael :)
I actually spent a whole weekend doing wheels on one of my cars with duplicolor black wheel paint. Then I used their clear coat but, I only did a light dusting so it came out somewhere between a satin and a gloss. It looked amazing and then I sold the car a few weeks later lol.
Maybe that helped you to sell the car! :)
So you didn’t use the duplicolor engine paint as used in the video? I’m wondering why he used the engine coating duplicolor and not the wheel coating.
The car looks great and it's unique
Put the Rhino Liner on the front bumper. It will loock better!
Hey what you did with the car is amazing! How can I get mine rhino lined?
"Cord less screw driver"
Blank this guys a dumbass
Ikr
I thought about rhino lining back in 2008 and now there doing it.wow.
You should paint your brake calipers yellow, and add pin-striping between the rhinoline and the actual bodyline. It would make it pop more and add a Spoiler, but thats all you should do. After that, I'd go into some performance mods. You'd be surprised what the V6 is capable of.
I was thinking about some of those ideas. Especially the calipers.
that hail messed it up big time, must have been good ball size
Yep!
One heck of a job my friend! Definitly AWSOME work BUT the ONLY thing I’d done different was I’d spent $20 on bondo and filled all the dents before the rhino lining. Would have fixed them ALL very easily. But still great work and I’m not at ALL bashing! Great job bud!☝️☝️👊👊
Thanks for the comments ! Appreciate it
black on black was already hard .... that yellow made it hamp
Definitely getting the grill now
this actually was an excellent idea!
pretty cool man keep it up. I've often wondered how spray liner would look to emulate a vinyl roof on the challenger I remember my dads cousin had a 70 dodge d100 he had what was called a spray vinyl roof which looked really great.
Thank you Arthur!
Awesome job done on your car my friend! That challenger looks like a millions bucks
Thanks Edgar :)
Looks great Stan. I'd use a yellow pinstripe to seperate the rino liner and gloss paint.
That would be amazing. Great idea👍
I love ALL my Milwaukee tools! Im running out of tools to buy from them lol
I hear they are making an electric demolition hammer- I want one of those :)
that's the closest I seen a new school look like an old school!
whoa that's crazy you made that car look sick I like the tire letters the yellow is a better choice than white
Thank you!
Is that bed liner on your car?
I always wanted a Mad Max car, I like it.
That rhino lining slayeddd
Thanks!
You did an amazing job! It really stands out.
Thank you!
i love the way the car looks! Very informative vid. thx
So, is the boy still thinking he's going to get the car when it's time to start driving? LOL
Not something I'd do but sure as hell looks good !
