    Hello, I'm from Mexico, when I ordered the gil gloves, the owner was the one who attended me personally, they are handmade, 100% handmade, they use products of the highest quality, they also manufacture masks, sacks, bibs, pears and more accessories. excellent prices, they do not envy anything to zepol, casanova etc etc The variety of colors is truly endless! Made in Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico

    I have the velcro version they are great for training gloves - have a really good fit and comfort, and are user friendly. For the heavy bag I don't know if they're great but but still better than many others. If you want really good protection there are probably better options out there.

    I want to see a comparison video of Necalli (former Casanova) VS Gil, please do! I assume you're obsessed by the deep world of 'Hecho en Mexico' gloves, these days? Me too, love the roughness, toughness, that leather smell compared to factory mass production gloves they never have. Imperfection is beauty. They're so special, and addictive. Thanks for the review!

      @@nb0616 yes, I bought a pair of Necalli lace-up gloves an year ago from their site and was always confused which to decide, Necalli or Gil? I chose Necalli since I was a big fan of Casanova, and I was quite amazed. But how is it different than other gloves introduced here? I'm so curious about it I want to know, if you got a minute to write, please! Thanks

    Hello great video as always just one question why weigh the gloves as those gloves are training gloves and 3 oz would not make a difference I would understand if the gloves were pro fight gloves or amateur competition gloves just wondering cheers

    • @Fit2Box
      @Fit2Box  Před rokem +1

      Well if a training glove has 16oz on the label but weighs 3 oz over what is the point in putting a 16oz label on
      With training gloves you would use them for more rounds so the extra oz would have an effect over the rounds
      Your arms would be more fatigued your speed would also be affected
      You may be getting hit more as you are slower as the rounds go on

    • @georgerodrigues2532

      @@Fit2Box please don't get me wrong I understand the logic if the label says 16 oz it should be 16 oz but on the flip side I don't think it's that important for training gloves as equivalent in weight would be three to four standard Mail envelopes also would like to see you review ringside weighted boxing glove for training if they still make that glove and let us know what kind of workout you can do with it cheers mate keep up the great work

    It goes without saying but i'll say it all the same, great review . I've been looking at Gil groves for a while , the quality looks top shelf , i was thinking to go for a pair of 12 oz & use them as a bag gloves , i guess they would have a real wight of about 15 oz .

    • @Fit2Box
