The Sony Mic quality is amazing
not much if you use it for motovlog or other outdoor "action". too much wind noises, the other 2 camera purposely muted the sound for that reason.
So entertaining! Love how much you squish together in your videos, be it 20 minutes of video, but still, that was a crazy amount of great content! Looking forward to your GoPro8 and Osmo Action2 reviews.

On this level of production to review a product, I think it is extremely informative, technical and entertaining. The best in YT so far.
Dealmaker l123 except the trickery where he for sure didn’t even have stabilization on for the GoPro.
This camera is amazing! Picking one up for my travels as soon as I can.
You would be better off with Osmo Pocket or Hero 7 Black. IMAGE QUALITY isnt as good as other cameras plus goto 9:39 and ask yourself why it has a serious jello effect with the rocksteady enabled. Not the best choice to purchase my friend.

Good review, except the very first test you did was not quite fair, as the camera in the middle would obviously have less movement than the cameras on either end of the fulcrum.

Boss, I have a DJI OSMO action camera, when it is turned on for about half an hour the camera is hot, then condenses on the lens's glasses, so the video results are blurry and a little darker.
Well my question,
Why is that a factor?

Non do the others do any better in the same situation.
Rocksteady is not available in the 4K HDR mode.
The stabilization is INSANE. I just bought 2 of these. Bye Bye GoPro!

Ha! Great review! I've had the Sony x3000 for over a year; never use my gopro any longer because it sucks in comparison for the features I require. In comparing this review, the x3000 paired with the remote still cannot be beat for sound, low light, and stabilization (less crop). I was on the fence but his great review made me decide to purchase a second x3000!

@@NorthernWayfarer-Alice I think there are cheap audio cables available where you can adjust the sound level. Of course not very hassle free solution but anyway.

Northern Wayfarer you can get a short inline headphone volume control for a few dollars. Plug that into the mic input on your X3000, adjust it about half way, plug your lav mic into that headphone volume control, and your volume will no longer be hot on your X3000. You are basically adding an adjustable gain control for the microphone. Or you can get an RX0, that has an adjustable gain control for the mic built in.

The sound from the Sony is noticeably noisier. It is a little blit cleaner after all, but I prefer the less noisy microphones from DJI and GoPro.
I’m not sure but I think the Sony will be realy noisy when you want to film mountainbiking, it sounded so crisp but the wind was loud and clear. although there didn’ seem to be that much wind. But like I said, I’m not sure because i don’t own one

@@Kyance I actually see zero difference between the Hero 7 Black and Osmo Action in terms of stabilization performance, except that Osmo Action needs considerably more crop to do it. That is what makes less good, IMO.
DJI stabilization looks better because it's placed on the middle.
IMHO you shouldn't have held on to the mounting points on the Sony and GoPro units because it enhanced the vibrations while the DJI just received pivoting shakes from the bar that all three of them were on. 🤭✌️ Great video
