  • Just outside of Redruth in Cornwall, Gwennap Pit and Gwennap village church have been built upon over and over. They have become timeless and full of stories. Researching for this film I found many interesting illustrations where the pit appears deep and rugged.
Gwen's full name in welsh is Gwen ferch Cynyr, there is much more interesting information about her and the link to the Arthurian legend which was too lose a tangent for now.
Though I didn't mention it in the film, my personal favourite part stands in the churchyard: a tunnel of yew trees. I hope you enjoy this film, may it mark the beginning of many more to come!
