  • SPECTACULAR POLDARK FILMING LOCATION & THE MOST PICTURESQUE FISHING VILLAGES IN CORNWALL// Happy Tuesday, Today we will be sharing another video from our trip to amazing Cornwall! We start with spectacular Poldark filming locations - Botallack Mine providing the perfect backdrop and scenery for the Poldark family mines Wheal Grace & Wheal Leisure. The video doesn't give the beauty there any justice, it's simply breathtaking! It's owned by the National Trust and we can highly recommend a visit.
Then we return to beautiful Mullion Cove on the Lizard - this was the place we chose for our very first ever holiday in the UK 26 years ago. It's still as beautiful, not as busy as other places and if you're looking for a place to spend an amazing holiday, you won't regret staying there. Honestly!
We continue with an amazing walk along the coastline to Lizard Point and finally we visit some of the most beautiful coves and fishing villages in the South of Cornwall. There are many more of course but you can image, we couldn't cover them all. Cornwall is so beautiful! It was our 4th time there and we simply love it! Kirsten & Joerg xx

When our daughter and family lived in England, they would take us to different parts of the country each time we would go to visit. On one trip, they took us to Cornwall for a week and we stayed in a beautiful cottage on a farm called Coombe Mill. The farmer, who looked like a young Prince Charles, came around each day on a tractor with a small wagon behind. You could get on and he would take you to feed the animals. My young grandchildren had so much fun feeding the lambs, goats, rabbits, donkeys, tetc. They got to ride ponies too. It was such a picturesque area with a beautiful little stream and stone bridge nearby. We went to the fishing village of Padstow and took a sight seeing boat along the coast. Such a beautiful place.

Rosamunde Pilcher is my favorite comfort read! Coming Home was my first and every year I reread Winter Soltice at Christmas and if I'm really on the ball the days will be matched up to the book and I finish on Christmas Eve ❤
Thank you both for doing these lovely videos. They are my comfort watch 🤗

I’ve learned so much from you guys. Art, history, fashion, architecture, cuisines, culture. And now to see the places I’ve so much wanted to visit. Lovely, lovely video and listening to your narrative so wonderful! And you got to see Mr Fox! There are so many things I would not know about if not for you. I’m so grateful. That was a good comparison of Port Issac and this part of Cornwall. I thought a little bit about Daphne du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn, but not too much. I hope you guys really loved it and enjoyed because it surly looked like it. Thank you
