    Students that apply through Go! Go! Nihon can choose among several dormitory options in cities like Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka.
    Akamonkai Language School has several dormitories. In today's live show, we explore the cheapest option in Tokyo - the Higashi Ogu Dorm.
    Go! Go! Nihon will show you one of the school dormitories available to students, discuss the cost of living, as well as the pros and cons of choosing the school dormitory as your accommodation option during your study in Japan.
    The simple 3-step process for booking a dormitory as your accommodation is as follows!
    STEP 1: LET US KNOW YOUR PREFERENCES
    About one month before you are scheduled to head for Japan, we'll email you a questionnaire where you get to tell us which type of accommodation you're most interested in, an average of what you're able to pay in rent, and the most important features of the accommodation.
    STEP 2: WE START LOOKING
    After you've sent us back the questionnaire, we'll go out and search among the several landlords we partner with, to find you something that fit your needs as closely as possible. All landlords that we partner with are people that we have met and communicate with regularly.
    STEP 3: YOU GET THE DETAILS
    After we find something that we think will work for you, we'll present you the accommodation with pictures, monthly rate and other details. If it appeals to you, we'll setup the contact with the landlord and help you reserve your place! If it doesn't, we'll repeat step 2.

    This was great, I was really surprised and happy to see people of all ages taking advantage of your program. I initially thought it was mostly going to be super young people right out of High school.

      Although most of the students are between 18 to 30 years old we do have under age and 40, 50, 60 students as well. In some case some extra information maybe required. For any further inquiry, please contact us through our site gogonihon.com

    Thank you, good video. What I would like to see for a video is going around a supermarket and showing some prices so we can compare to our countries, maybe adding some tips to save here and there, and maybe comparing a small store (like 7/11) to a supermarket, and a bulk-supermarket (like Costco). Thank you!

    First of all I want to thank you guys from Go!Go!Nihon for providing us wth this informative videos!
    I will be attending Akamonkai long term course since October this year and I was wondering if you could show us the sharehouses or dormitories with single rooms? Sadly the Akamonkai site doesn't provide much in this field.

    • @GoGoNihonGo
      @GoGoNihonGo  Před 7 lety +1

      We should be able to show photos of one student private room in a different dormitory in one of the next live shows. Akamonkai has several dormitories, so it's difficult to go and show them all, but we will do our best. Also when you email Go! Go! Nihon, you can get more information about the dormitories, so please ask your student coordinator at Go! Go! Nihon about it. (Davide)

    Hey GoGoNihon, first of all, Nice video as always.
    Secondly I had a little question concerning accomodation, I was considering coming to Japan in October 2018 and one of my friend wants to come too, would it be better (money talking) to take an appartment for both of us and split it 50/50 or take a sharehouse each (in the same sharehouse) ?
    Thank You :)

    • @GoGoNihonGo
      @GoGoNihonGo  Před 7 lety +5

      Split the rent of a small apartment will be cheaper. However living in a share house with other students and Japanese people make it easier at the beginning since you can make friends from day one and you always have someone to ask things in the house. If you have other questions, you can contact Go! Go! Nihon. Thank you!

      It's a private room, in a newly built dorm, with less people living (and sharing) at 10 minutes walking distance from the dorm. For photos and more detailed information, please contact us at Go! Go! Nihon. Also please keep in mind that spots in the dorms are limited and usually the nicest one, although more expensive, got full fast, so you wanna contact Go! Go! Nihon as soon as you can ;)

    Also can you show a dormitory for ALA school I'm curious about it.

    It would be nice to see a video showcasing the share house too, instead of digital images that you seen online. Anyways, nice video as always, I look forward to see your upcoming videos! Cheers!

      Hi, thanks for your question. Some schools do help students with finding work after finishing the language course. Be aware that generally employers in Japan require applicants to have both a university degree or several years of work experience, as well as high Japanese language ability.
