  • What is a Möbius strip? If you’ve never heard of it, that’s alright. Neil deGrasse Tyson and comic co-host Chuck Nice are here to explain what exactly is going on with a Möbius strip.
    Neil gets crafty to show us how a Möbius strip only has one side. What would a Möbius strip look like in higher dimensions? You’ll learn about a Klein bottle. All that, plus, Neil tells us about tesseracts and why he’ll stick to calling them 4D cubes.

    I don't know if there is going to be a better time or place to ask this; I LOVE the idea of mathematical short stories. They combine two of my favourite things!     The coolest thing about Mobius strips: If you take two Mobius strips that have opposite chirality (ie one is twisted to the left and one to the right) and tape them together, and then cut them in half, you end up with two interlocking hearts.

    Theres an infinity line running through any cube which means you can scale an image of a cube so it goes small to infinity or large to infinity. When you draw a cube there are bisecting lines you can use to draw a cube within a cube. Its similar to holding a mirror in front of a mirror, A, B, AB, O
