Both my 22 year old son and I were moved to tears by Fraser’s amazing performance! Such a well deserved Oscar! Bravo!
I've been loving Brendan's career renaissance, He deserves it
I love this man! ❤
I’ve been watching him growing up, and the whale was phenomenal! I’m so glad he got the recognition he deserves this year
Just re-watched "With Honors" yesterday...weeped all over again
So did I, on Tubi. Love that movie!

*I couldn't be more grateful and honoured and full of joy and lightened and amazed by meeting this man, this great human and artist and this deep and pure soul, back in 2017 when he was filming in London (I won't say the name of the series), I was his exclusive driver back then for two weeks. I was meant to be his driver for the whole shoot but sadly I got very very ill so I had to be replaced. What a man, what a human, what an experience I've had, and yes, he really likes a good burger now end then. Thank you Brandon. PS: I stil say "giddy up" sometimes when I start driving! Fun fact: many times when I meet someone I tell my name as in "George, George, George of the jungle, is the jungle vip" and I still watch now and then the "Mummy" series* Signed: George, film unit driver
Trust.
Did you drive him to Soho w/ his leather satchel of "boy toys"?
Love love love him!😘
Deseo que Sea Muy Feliz es un Gran Actor 😊
My favorite movie with him was when he played a Vietnam Veteran turned Hippie in Now and Then. It was a small but significant role. 🥰
It was all he could get.

Love Brendan Fraser!! So happy for his award winning year!!!
He was great in The Mummy
Yes, still one of my personal favorites to rewatch from time to time….
15:05 - that reporter _clearly_ plays guitar IRL.
❤
👍🍀
Is there something wrong with his voice?
He had a cold
First
Amazing how he bold face lies to all of these interviewers. Over 30 years of experience (on camera. 54 years off camera).
A nothing performance in The Whale, just handed Oscar for being a nice guy and longtime loser. Not particularly nice in person either.
A group(The Academy)of his peers who voted for him to win disagree with you. Who are you to call anyone a loser. What a harsh word! Bullies use that word! Certainly you are not that!?
My how fortunate you are to know Brendan Fraser to know? him in person! Never have I seen him in an interview be "not particularly nice", no one that has ever worked with him has said that.
@@carolynturk-hu7je I think Austin Butler gave the best performance.I think Brendan Fraser won for playing a pathetic character, and also because his career was nonexistent before this.
@@kimerietate8372 First, empathy much? Hopefully you or someone you care about will not be in the health/life position the CHARACTER Brendan Fraser portrays was in The Whale. The Oscars are given for the movie that year, voted on by the members of the Academy, the peer actors and actresses that are current members of the Academy. Why get on me or Brendan Fraser when neither of us voted for him to win. I saw neither movie, enjoyed the interview on CBS Sunday Morning. Did you watch the interview? It is not about why he won the Oscar. Or if he is YOUR favorite actor. Brendan Frasers DECADES long career acting in films is not judged, the current film performance is. Look him up, he had done alot of famous movies!
@@carolynturk7368 🥱
@@kimerietate8372 Austin Butler? You're delusional lmao
Why did his character have to be gay? Why is everybody gay now? wtf?
The screenwriter is gay and the story was partially autobiographical. Deal.
Brendan has "played" gay 7 times. It's his comfort zone, if you know what I mean.
@@ifyouonlyknew811 Right. And his ex-wife dated him for five years and somehow never noticed this 🙄
@@elizabethhenning778 She's not the first woman to wind up in a lavender marriage with an actor. There's a long list. Do you think it's normal to date a woman for 5 years, then get married (after the stories about him and McKellen), then not have a child for 4 more years? Who did he publicly date after Afton, until he started "dating" her makeup artist ( from ballroom) just before awards season?
The alimony was HUSH MONEY and he made her sign a nondisclosure agreement.
@@ifyouonlyknew811 Please. In 1960, yes. In 1999, not so much. The alimony was hush money but then he tried to get out of it? He dumped her and then she sets him up with someone? Your lies don't even make any sense.
