love it!! though the timing of this list seems a bit off starting with Angelina/Isle of Capri (at least when i try it)...
In the late 50's to mid 60's Italian music was the music to listen to. It filled my home and we knew all the words - Volare, Al di la, Three Coins in A Fountain - and the singers were the last of the greats! Como, Frank, Dean, Bobby Darin - To this day, those voices that didn't use autotuning were marvels that are still unsurpassed. And nothing will touch your heartstrings like the romantic ballads. Yes, you missed a few, but you HAD to. There were too many great ones.
And I have to mention the GREAT Connie Francis, with the tearing throb in her voice when she sang her Italian American songs - every time she sang "Mama", my father would cry. It touched his heart so. There is no album more sublime than her "Connie Francis sings Italian Favorites."

MA QUE BELLA COSA;!!!!
I was only a primary school boy 1955-1961 but loved these songs of that period, especially the Italian ones then.Even though I was not Italian british.Thankfully there are some of these in english. But as now I always have thought I prefer when they are sung all in Italian.
Welcome back my friend 🌷🥳🌷
Faboulous! Thank you so much for this beautiful songs!
Simply love your playlists... I used to listen to your jazz music back in junior high(like 7 years ago) and it's wonderful that you are still here!

Compare these to the originals, for example Volare or Mack the Knife (I don't know how that got in). There is a de-naturing, an appropriation.
