You probably remember the old glamorous times: Lana Turner, Ava Gardner, Gene Thierney.... And now you look around you and see: Megan Three Stallion, Madonna and her creepy daughter Lourdes... People don’t write long love letters any more, just a quick “Hi! LOL!” on their cellulars. Mom told me that in the old days “going on a date” meant: meeting the boy near the metro and go for a walk in the Park... and talk about school and projects. And that’s it! From innocent movies like “A Patch of Blue” to “them” Sam Smith dancing in red woman’s underwear at the Grammys. At least you remember the good old times...

My Grandfather (1920-1994) was a WW2 veteran in the South Pacific campaign. I remember him listening to this music when we would visit him. The stories and photos he had were just incredible!!! He passed in 1994 in my early 20s. Whenever I hear this era of music it gives me the fondest of memories of him. I was so fortunate to know my great-grandfather as well (1897-1992 and a WW1 veteran) and his stories were just as amazing. I sure do miss those days when they were on this earth, but I'm blessed to have the wonderful memories.

As a 22-year-old, I used to listen to Jazz, Swing, and Ragtime music whenever I could get the chance when I was younger. I can't help but imagine what life was like during the 1900s. The Evolution of Music through the 1900s alone is just phenomenal. Even though Art Deco has lost its popularity, before the Mid-Century era began, its impact has forever left its mark on the skyscraper scene and the Music and *Art* scene. There's just something about that era that's....Timeless to me. I'm glad that people are recognizing how amazing that era truly was, and the return of Art Deco just makes it even more reminiscent. Today's music is no match for the beauty of that era, and I mean every word.

It was the time of innocence. Like I said to the gentleman on top of the comments: in the old days “dating” meant meeting her boy near the metro and go for a walk, then maybe buy an ice-cream (if they had the money), and go to the park and talk about school and projects. Then in the late 60’s everything changed...! (The hippies era). Books like “How to talk about sex to your children” appeared. Sexual revolution full speed.. ! Then it kind of “calmed down”, I remember the 80’s as the best time ever. Internet did not exist and who cares! We sent faxes! After year 2000 things began to change... Right now all I see is selfies, duck face and the word “lol”.

So “great” that when a University professor said that MEN can’t get pregnant she got fired! That article is on VIGILANT CITIZEN. And a professor in England lost his job because the called a girl “GIRL”. She identifies as a boy (or a dog), she complained, and he got fired. Men masquerading as women can now join women spa, women’s jails and compete with women in sports. A man masquerading as a woman (“Melody Wiseheart”) can shower with little girls and the Swimming Club’s administration says nothing. G - ays can now go naked during “Prides” the police is not allowed to arrest them. In San Francisco they perform MEGA or gies in the middle of the street, the police does not mind, if this is hard to believe just type: “Folsom pride, o rgy”. Soon it will be this way in ALL cities. Although this music period well before my time (late 60s born), I've loved since a teenager. I also love The Andrew Sisters, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and 1950s music. Evokes all memories of the silver screen movies, documentaries of that period, the dress code, culture, and you could see musical instruments being played, instead of synthesised and made electronically (a skill in its own right of course). Listening to this while drinking morning coffee, chilly and windy outside....feeling nostalgic now, pondering taking out the Christmas tree. 😍🤣

Yes even if one is not religious, love the look of an old fashioned decorated tree, with the old fashioned globes and snow. 41* C where I am now. 😂

Classy music then and now and a whole lot better than the want to be music that is trying to be music today.

@@jodiblackman7838 There won't be any credit because I'm fairly certain it's AI. Too many inexplicable oddities; front woman's eyes and shoulder details don't match the other, back woman's elongated alien fingers, disembodied arm hooking on the back man's left arm, just to name a few issues...
