- About the show:
Set in a small Indiana town, The Prom tells the story of a high school student banned from her prom for wanting to bring her girlfriend. When her story reaches a group of eccentric Broadway actors, the group travels to the community in an earnest (if perhaps misguided) attempt to help fight the injustice.
What happens when four stars leave the bright lights of Broadway and take leading roles in a small-town controversy making national headlines? Big drama. Bigger laughs. And the biggest musical showstopper in years!

Where is the GYPSY revival for Beth Leavel?
I would love to see that, but I want her to be in THE PROM for as long as possible! She actually did do GYPSY at the MUNY (in St. Louis) in the summer before THE PROM began. I so wish I could have seen it.

Is it just me or did they sang off key on the final note?
Phantomnightwatcher it was on key the reverb just made the harmony sound weird
It’s weird because the second half of the song is supposed to just be Emma but they made it a duet.
wasn't off key, it was actually really well done, but it sounded a little weird due to the reverb and the fact that it was a duet rather than the normal solo it is.
