Does anyone else think that hair videos are just SOOO satisfying to watch
I agree
Syerra Noelle I agree ☺️
I approve this message
I thought I was the only one😂😌
Super satisfying
“I’ve been braiding my hair since I was 6 years old” that’s my problem this is why the only thing I can do is gel my hair up into a bun 😩 why did my mom not make me learn
green PHAT MOOD - my mum failed me
green awww, I just did it because my mom was always giving me wonky hair styles and I was teased 😕
Once I learn how to part you can’t tell me nothing 😂😂 I love all your simple styles!
Crystal Hadley yes!! This style is awesome 🙌🏽
The back how many rows did you make and did you stagger the rows?
I always think my parts look so good in the back. After I finish and take a pic of the back and look at it, it’s all crooked and zigzag again 🤪
Yes especially when ur learning good things.
RT😆
This is a bit personal but I'll be honest
I'm a nearly 19 Year Old woman, and really lazy in many things. This includes me taking care of myself. And my hair is no exception. With the added that because of my lack of self confidence, I ended up disliking my hair and myself as a whole.
This lead to years of my Mom trying to do my hair for me. One of the main hairstyles done on me was braiding-To this day I've NEVER learned how to braid hair. I even gave up easily during times I tried to actual do it. However after constantly getting lectured by both my parents about growing up and how I need to take care of myself just in case anything happens to them, I decided that I'm going to try to change that, one baby step at a time.
After seeing this video, especially hearing "It's okay if you don't get it right the first time." at one point helped boost my motivation and self confidence a little. Which is one of the reasons why I'm typing all this out.
To thank you for this tutorial, that bit of advice, and honestly the entire video as to help do the one thing I never got to do by myself in the past, but never too late to do as of now ☺
Two years later, I hope you’re in a much better place Sis? xx
I am a 18 year old and yeah I can relate to a lot of this.
@@thephilosopher5799 I’m 16 but this is so true haha

I’ll be so happy when my hair get back to this length. Yours is beautiful
LolitasFro thank you so much 🤗
Isn’t it just the SWEETEST thought to remember when you were Six and just learning how to care for your own hair? That made me smile! 😊
Woodtunes, Inc. lol I had to 😂 my mom didn’t know what she was doing and I got tired of going to school with big buns on the top of my head (I had a lot of hair)
Growing up with arab mom makes me learn how to braid my hair at a younger age too..coz she knew nothing about african hair
i’m 13 and just learning 💀
@@diybyjay6325 samee im 14 and ibr been doing my gair for less than a year
Can't relate. My mom tried to teach me when I was way older than that, but I wasn't very good nor was I patient, so I gave up early. A few years later, I had to take care of my hair by myself, so I looked up some youtube videos on how to braid so that's how I know
Hair looks DOPE!!!! All natural, no extensions!!! 🕺
Thank you 💕
@@jeanettejbeauty6374 come and do mine hun

Shanay yes 🙌🏽🙌🏽 I can’t wait to unravel them!
Although I have been braiding my own hair for yeeaaars, the headline caught my attention because I was never truly TAUGHT a proper way to do it as a protective style. Watching your video was insightful, especially when it comes to maintenence. Thanks for posting
I wish my parts looked this clean when ever I do braids on myself lol
This is my literal go to hairstyle for school, especially as I can pack it in other ways too! Thanks so much!!
Yay 😁 thanks for watching
I love how simple this style is. It’s amazing and I would like to try it.
Felicia Dunn thank you 💕🙌🏽
Thank you so much for this video! I have been looking for a video that goes through the parting process forever!!! 💓💓
I’ve only been doing my own hair for about a year and only know how to do twists 😅. I’ve been thinking of doing some natural braids, and I think this really helped!
Yay 🙌🏽 You can do it💜
I usually do two strand twist but this came out really cute so I will be trying it soon! Thank you!

My mother sister and aunt was braiding my hair forever when i was a little girl after church on Sunday’s now I’m an adult I braid my daughter hair when she was little also shes married and grown now and she braid her daughters hair 😊

Thanks girl! I’ll be doing this tomorrow night. I’m always wearing twist & I want to switch it up!! 👍🏽
Wow, that hair is simply beautiful.
deva190 thank you 💕
I do this style on my daughter’s hair but with two strand twist. It last about 7 weeks. I did wash it about twice within that time. She loved it and I do too.😊
I love these type of styles.
My hair is so fluffy it just looks messy after 1 day
Bubblegum 17 try different products. There are many out there that will lay your hair down. Which gel do you use?
How do you get it to last so long?? My 4yr olds hair looks week old the next day. She is constantly doing somersaults and running her hands through her hair. We've tried different oils and creams but haven't done a butter so maybe that'll be next
Your hair is so pretty and your parting skills are amazing!!! Love this!
Your hair is so perfect 😍 thank you for this video
I tried this, it was challenging to part my hair but I ended up finishing it . I really like it.
I have the same exact hair type as you do. I love it.
I just did this look for vacation. It lasted a whole week. Even through swimming and wash day 🙌🙌. It was so cute and natural.
This is what I was looking for thank you!!
This reminds me so much of when me and my 4 sisters used to do each other's hair. I could never get my own to look right - we always needed each other's help.
thank you so much! This was such a great tutorial!
You have the Best protective hair style I've seen yet!
Thank you so much!! Tell me why I'm in cosmotology school and they arent teaching us how to braid natural hair?! You are lifesaver. 🙏🙏
I think I'll try this style after I take my braids out. After my hair got heat damaged at the salon in December, im making sure that I really start learning how to do my hair myself. I did braids with added hair myself about a month ago and was really happy with my first try, but I want to do them again but with no added hair. This looks like a simple tutorial so thank you for sharing. 😊
I finally learned how to braid thank you!!!
Awesome! I am going to try this. You make it look so easy because you give excellent directions. Thank you!!
Tanya Coleman yay🙌🏽 let me know how it goes! I love these styles
This is my favorite rattail comb, I had mine 3 years and it hasn’t broken yet

Julie Xoxo thank you ☺️
Came out beautiful and so neat ❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊thank you ❤️❤️
Thank you :-)
This style is so cute & I’ll definitely be using as inspiration for my next wash day. However, a video on how you styled them on a daily basis would be cute. Like a bun, ponytail, etc.
Thank you, I didn't style the braids other than two back because I'm recovering from postpartum hair loss and my edges are growing back :-)
love it!!!
I am a new subscriber. I love your videos. They inspire me!

Imgaine the definition you'll get afterwards!! I used to do these before I cut my hair...now that it's grown back...I think I might do this again..I do it with my little girls hair all the time... it's so easy
Dawatha Brown omg I cant wait 🙌🏽🙌🏽 I love these styles ☺️ I’ll do it on Xenai once her hair gets long enough lol
Thank you helped much i just stareted braiding my own hair
Hi! Great tutorial 🤗 How many hours/days did this take you?
Thank you 😊 I believe 1 1/2 hours
Very beautiful and neat. For the life of me, I cannot braid the very front portion of my hair. It feels so awkward when I braid to the front instead of the side. I’m glad you showed yourself braiding the front. ❤️
DeVonae Tinsley yes, I always show the front and back because I knows it helps ☺️ thanks for watching 💕
I feel so slow 🤦did my fiance's hair and didn't put any product to help hold it lol when we do it again in 2 weeks will definitely be taking your advice!!
I just learned from this video how to with no stress braid the back head hair😍😍😍😍😍😍
I'm going to try this today
I love this hairstyle, ive been debating on weither gettting twist or these, but i want these but only if its done the same way you done yours 🥺

The full length of your hair is sooo healthy. You have me grabbing my trimming shears. :p
Beautiful hair and video
Amazing 😻 I love it
Thanks 😊
Beautiful,Thanks for sharing, which did you cream applied?.
Love it
You’ve taught me soooo much about my hair, natural hair period!! I’m obsessed w/ your channel because it’s so informative. I recently cut my hair again to get rid of those old ends (Inspired by you cutting off your blonde ends)! I was trying to hold on to length when I should’ve been let it go! I’d prefer natural hair over length any day! Keep the videos coming and I’ll keep supporting 🤗💕💕
CoCo Cole thank you for your support 🙌🏽🤗
Isn’t it possible to keep those permed ends, when growing the hair out. I’ve been natural for 3 years and I still can’t find the courage to cut all my damaged ends off. I can’t.
J. H you can keep those ends while transitioning! You can cut them once your hair grows out more in the future.
CoCo Cole Okay. Thank you so much.
J. H you can keep it but in order for the curl at the end you may need a small permrod
My favorite style to wear but I still suck at braiding. I will keep practicing. Will you do a braid out of this style or how you style them for the week?
Susie Redish yes I love these styles! I don’t have to worry about doing my hair, even if it’s fluffing it, I can just take my bonnet off and mist the braids with water and I’m good to go! 🙌🏽
Yes, I will be doing an unraveling video. I’m not going to style because my edges are growing back from postpartum and they’re thin, I’m a bit self conscious 🙃
@@jeanettejbeauty6374 I understand how you feel. I experienced it after I had my son 16 yrs ago. Also, thinning edges after having a hysterectomy 8 months ago. Unfortunately, a side affect of anesthesia. However, they are getting thicker which I am happy about. ☺
Thats good, they're growing back!
