I totally ignored FA (bcz I can't memorize randomly, i need to dig down deep to get it in my brain, but as we don't have forever to learn,i should've summarised) and was stuck to uw, kaplan, najeeb etc. Now I am going through FA with bnb and usmle rx. Remember, the first aid serves an important role, which is to help you identify the most important and high yield information that you need to focus on. Sounds like you’re just jumping from resources to resources, but how are you actually using them to work on your weaknesses?
@@usmleguys thank you for your kind concern, I gave nbmes and found that I am getting some tough questions right but making silly mistakes and questions that need some memorization. Your video identified my problem of missing easy questions! I really appreciate your efforts.
Thank you so much for your help, it actually makes me feel more confident about the way ive been studying. I've been so pressured by comparing myself to people around me who just picked up first aid really quickly and I forgot to see where I'm at. Comparison is a disease haha! I feel first aid should only be picked up when you're pretty strong in ur basics and now I'm trying to just focus on videos right now. As I do the uworld questions , I will annotate in first aid :) thank you !

I now want to do fellowship in the US that require a USMLE for me to do so. I am so lost as to what to study. Hi, Thanking you for your wonderful videos. I just wanted to know if more than 5 years after graduation decreases one's chances to match in the US. I will be taking Step 1 soon however it's my 6th year after graduation.
Some programs won’t consider graduates beyond a certain timeframe, while to others it doesn’t matter. So yes, some doors are closed, but it doesn’t mean you don’t have a chance.
Thank you, So I graduated 4 years ago and did some depth core reading and lectures and now doing uworld system wise, and not I read first aid 2 hrs a day for just understanding the concept like just reading through so I'm constantly wondering if I'm doing it the right way ? What's your tip for my specific situation Thanks

From what you're saying, it sounds like your approach is probably off and not the best approach based on being away for 4yrs, but we'd need to know more before being able to give you specific advice tailored to your specific situation. Yes, it does. If you take the exam before it goes pass/fail, your 3-digit score absolutely will be on your record. So I'd take the exam seriously... Even when it goes pass/fail, it's not going to be any easier.

I have weakness in basic so , I am starting on board and beyond to improve the knowledge then I will start on first aid with Uworld , that’s right.

Which month is the best option for foreigners to attend usmle step 1
There’s no month that’s better than another. The best month is when you’re at your peak and will walk into the exam most prepared to do well 😄
