- Are Arsenal's Invincibles the greatest football team of all time? Arsenal's 2003/2004 Premier League title winning side went the whole season (and beyond) without losing a single league match, finishing the season with 26 wins, 12 draws and with a total of 90 points (11 ahead of 2nd placed Chelsea). We take a look at that Arsenal season in our new format GOATS.

After reading a few comments, I can only conclude that a lot of you never actually watched this team play. (Highlights don’t count)
49 games unbeaten, while amazing, really isn’t the point here. The Arsenal team of the late 90s and early 2000s was absolutely sensational to watch. You couldn’t take your eyes of your television screen for fear of missing something incredible. It’s not about how many games they won or the titles they lifted...it’s how they played. Truly beautiful football.
They are great team but I think there are a few better teams.

5-4 what a thriller and we were 5-1 if we had messi on the pitch we would have equalized. But that la liga campaign made valverde look like a god. And also that was the only coutjnho hattrick. Shaurez should have let him take the pen but whatever.

Barcelona may not finish the 38 game campaign unbeaten But the thing is technically Barcelona won the league undefeated with the 5-4 coming post wrapping up of the league.

I personally don’t want to ever see another team go invincible. This is because it bemoans a lack of quality or rather and inequality in the league the shouldn’t exist. This my personal opinion on unbeaten seasons since it can exemplify uncompetitive tendencies.
