  • Breaking down a solo/improve for @vintagemxiron8390
did the sequences in slow motion. Pretty easy to play once you understand hammer ons and pull offs with some pedal tones. In the key of E minor.
thank you for watching please subscribe and like, have a great weekend!!!
so be aware if you try to do some of this stuff on lower end guitars it will be harder to do
or you are using a SOLID STATE COMBO AMP etc...I do use a 475 ms delay on most of my recordings, that can help, if your timing is of the delay can make you sound bad.
all secrets of the old coot with long hair, I keep saying watch my right hand BECAUSE it tells you whether or not I'm picking very fast or just doing hammer ons and pull off very fast.
I would highly recommend watching INGWIE J MALMSTEEN and SATCHEL as both are very good even take a look at KIKO LOUREIRO. watch their phrasing listen to the notes they highlight in their Solo's.

I've never understood how to get that sound like I hear Zakk Wylde get until I saw you doing the intermittent speed picking. Already applied it to the guitar so many thanks for demonstrating

@@vintagemxiron8390 right on , you can also get harmonics by picking a certain way, a lot of older guitar players do it when they bend 1/2 or full step. It adds to a feel to a solo
Sometimes you may do it by accident.😊
