We have two lovely Logotto ladies and currently have a litter of stunning pups. So tempting to keep more but also brings such satisfaction seeing them bring so much joy and love to their new homes and families
I am lucky enough to own a Lagotto! He is full of energy and busy every moment until we come in to sit on the couch. He loves to swim, dock dive, do agility, he also pulls weight, and he does FastCAT. I love this sweet little son guy!!
I wasn’t aware of the breed. I am a standard poodle lover, so these guys peaked my interest.
My lagotto definitely thinks I belong to her - she comes to sit between my children and I if I am giving them too much affection and her not enough! lol. She is a diva who thinks she is human. She approaches all strangers hopefully and sits down obediently if they show any interest hoping for a treat.
A vet once told me she had me well trained. :) They are the most fun dogs, such mischevious personalities and they know exactly what they are doing!
Yes, I am totally belong to them too, and they compete among each other to sit on my lap or as near as possible, preferably in direct contact.
Great video and great dogs! I live in an apartment and struggling to decide whether it’ll be appropriate place to raise such a beautiful dog.
It is not about where you live but if you like to spent time outdoors. Yes it is more difficult with puppies in the apartment in terms of housetraining but this problem pass fairly quickly. Lagotti are fine living anywhere as long as they get to go out for a walk. :)
We are in Sydney Australia. We have 3 cats. They are indoor cats. What is the best way to introduce a Lagotto Romagnolo puppy to cats. We will have a proper crate for puppy and he or she will sleep inside and in crate. Thanks
Lagotto is smart and sensible breed. Your cats will tell your pup how to behave depending on their personalities. Some cats happy to play with pups, some want nothing to do with dogs. I do not crate my dogs, they are part of my family
