I am glad you rescue dogs. However, I very much appreciate efforts of breeders who bred and raised my pups. Particular breeds have predictable inclination and traits and for some people it is a priority, like Lagotto breed being non shedding and hypoallergenic.
Very nice video on the realities of owning a Lagotto. I wouldn't change it for the world, although they can get awfully stinky from those puddles 😅

There are pros and cons. Yes to regular grooming, about every 3 months but no daily shedding. Stuff sticks only to long coat, not short :)
Best dog is a rescue. Why pay greedy breeders who only raise dogs for money.

Rescued dogs can sometimes be a disaster for first time dog owners.
I need purebreds due to allergies and also other preferences, there’s a place for both
