- If you want to learn to groom your Lagotto yourself then this video is for you. This is practical groom shows how to scissor your Lagotto to look like Lagotto. It appears many groomers give Lagotto "Doodle style" and it is ok if you happy about it but if you wish to take matter in your hand I hope my videos will help you. Happy practicing!

The video is in speed mode and perhaps gives impression of me not being gentle, that is not the case. If you look at the dog you can see her falling asleep, she is not hurt but comfortable enough to sleep while being groomed.
In Germany they say "Das muss der Hund abkönnen."
Thank you for this video I learned a lot! Just a question, after the bath can we dry the dog with a blow dryer? Or will this impact the curls?
Yes you can use fan to dry your dog but you will not see curls until your dog gets wet again. However if you plan to scissor your dog then you need to use blow dryer to uncurl the coat, when you done, simply wet your dog again and let air dry.

I can’t believe you don’t brush her before combing this looks cruel and the dog looks terrified I couldn’t carry on watching.
First of all, the video is on high speed but even with that I can not understand where you see terrified dog. She is falling asleep sitting up, she is laying on her back in relaxed pose. But I will make a video in real time, all my dogs enjoy being groomed. Brushing Lagotto only fluffs upper coat and does nothing for thick curly coat. Using wide toothed comb untangles curls and remove mats. I did use force blower to open up the coat after she had a bath before combing her
I see a wonderful loving groomer kissing the dog a few times and touches her dog continuously in a gentle and firm way. No terrified dog.
