  • Someone suggested that I do a 3 headed dragon, so I just HAD to try!! I have always wanted to do a 3 headed.. something! LOL So a 3 headed dragon would be cool as heck! Because I had to make 3 heads instead of just 1, I made them differently then I originally planed. All 3 will have their mouths closed to help make this sculpture simple.. After all, this is my FIRST attempt at making a full figure dragon!
Someone also mentioned that I should make the torso a little bigger.. So I did that too. I very much appreciate your feed back on these videos!! As you can see, it IS helping me to do better work. As far as I can tell this will be hand painted with acrylics, the colors are yet to be decided...
Gotta go, a very BAD storm is rolling through.. I may write a little more here later, and reply to your comments. Thank you so much for the continued support! This may be the greatest sculpture I have ever made... We shall see.

I'm glad your enjoying the videos so far! A lot of people, myself included, learn from visually seeing someone do something. And time lapse also helps us to see in a different perspective as well. Its good to hear you may give sculpting a chance one day!!! Just remember to have fun and this clay is PERFECT for practicing because it wont dry out. And thank you!

Thanks 4 the feed back! At the current angles of the heads (slightly facing down) having a mouth opened would be very hard to see in the first place.. Remember.. this is my first full dragon, and I can do way more after this.. but it would be awesome! The teeth would have to be small though =O

I love dragons and three heads definitely a good move, works great. Love the heads working as one unit all looking same direction, love it

Thank you!! yeah, they do look a little snake-y! LOL Also, keep in mind that everything will appear a little bigger once all the scales and other details are added. But I am going to work on the heads a bit more, thanks for the advice!

Whoever thumbs down the video, it would have been nice telling me why.. so I can do better.. But that is the nature of "thumbs down".. it is never explained. If you are a troll, you are only telling CZcams not to recommend these types of videos [sculpting, art, polymer clay] and it is not hurting anything here. Thank you for the rating btw, believe it or not they help too! =Þ

you looked at the torso, deciding if it was too thin for 5 days! FIVE DAYS - you sir have dedication!

Tom this is awe inspiring! You started off with very little confidence and, as each stage is completed you become more excited and self assured! I'm only a beginner so it's been amazing to watch you gather momentum and when you say it looks 'freakin' amazing' I have to have a giggle because it's obvious you didn't know you had it in you and it is just that. 'Freakin' amazing'! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much I very much appreciate your feed back! I got my tools from hobby-lobby, and I have a video for both the pencil holders AND the storage station you see my tools in. You can find them on the [videos] tab on my CZcams channel. And if you try at making a dragon I'd love to see it!! Just post a photo to my Facebook fan page. As a beginner I'd say to just take your time and have fun with it!! Also, take a look at the video responses where other's have attempted some of my work.

I appreciate you taking notice the efforts that go into all this... thank you so much!! And I appreciate you helping get this out there too, its very hard getting noticed on CZcams. I'm thankfull for any little help that comes my way! And quilting takes probably even MORE patients to do!! It cool that we can both appreciate the time consuming part of crafting, thanks again so much! I'll do my best to make this dragon worth it.
