  • The Centre for the Study of Social and Global Justice (CSSGJ) is very pleased to be welcoming Martina Locorotondo.
Martina Locorotondo is undertaking her PhD in the Centre for Urban Research on Austerity (CURA) at De Montfort University of Leicester (UK). Her research project intersects the areas of Critical Urban Studies, Social Movement Studies and the Commons. Specifically, she looks at the processes of urban transformation in Naples between touristification, the experimentation of the commons and the new-municipalist experience. In order to answer to her research questions, Martina is adopting participant and ethnographic methodologies and a Decolonial Feminist theoretical standpoint.
The Centre for the Study of Social and Global Justice (CSSGJ) is an independent and critically oriented research centre dedicated to promoting free education.
