- Welcome back to another video here on The Big Dan Show, the fastest growing CZcams channel on the Gulf Coast and today we are at shoreline park and Im calling this one, "The Perfect Storm" Blue Angel weekend, Saturday afternoon and the Blues get called off due to excessive lightning only 20 minutes into the show. With Severe weather coming, Shoreline Boat Ramp in Gulf Breeze Fl, turned into an absolute circus. Sit back, grab a drink, a snack, and watch the fun.

The mud motors like the one he said sounded like a Volkswagen are air cooled they don't have a water pump so running them out of water won't hurt them. Loving the vids
It’s always struck me ,that once it starts raining, even though everybody on the boat is wet or has gotten wet, they don’t want to get wet in the rain, now that’s without lightning, that’s dangerous and scary,😱but I think you get me😂😂, shout out to the wifey and thank you for your time/work👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻💕😎
It's not the getting wet, it's the temperature. A little splash in sunshine can feel nice, but when it starts raining like this it gets COLD very quickly.

Crazy busy and funny..I grew up on the ocean and lived in a resort area..The weekends would get nuts from all the people from the cities that would come down and people had no clue..

Every year since i was very little my family grandparents down went to Minnesota for a cabin and fishing vacation, some of my fondest memories of this time was listening to my grandpa and dad just talking smack about people at the boat launch, and also, the resort we stayed in was one of the only fuel pump at the docks left on the lakes, watching your videos is like nostalgia for me :)

We love sport fishing more then anybody but on opening day we dont bring a boat we bring lawn chairs. It is a smaller boat launch only 10 slips but the mayhem that happens on opening day is the craziest time ever. Everything from fist time boaters that have too much money to people that will never learn the basics. Man opening day it is the most amazing day for us. I have watched 6 guys take 30 min to fail at trailering a 27' offshore fishing boat and I have also watched a single captain do it by himself in 2 min.
First time from Texas, no matter where I go, boat ramps are all the same they give me laughs thanks

That camo boat has a mud motor and they're air-cooled. Makes no difference if they're in water or not. He wasn't hurting anything.

These videos are educational and funny but also we are brand new to boating and I get so nervous and embarrassed at the ramp. We’ve had a couple of embarrassing things happen and I dread the launch and trailering process!
Everyone has to learn somehow. I’ve been launching boats for about 30 years now, I started young. I’m experienced and still have moments where I just have to shake my head and laugh at myself. 🤦♂️
Some of the people featured in Dan’s videos are less than intelligent and probably should not be driving cars, let alone boats 😂

It's funny that some of these people absolutely can't back a trailer up, when I was a boy I learned how to back a trailer up by putting my hand on the bottom of the steering wheel and whichever way you want the trailer to go move your hand that way, as a matter of fact I find myself just out of habit still doing it that way today.

pro tip: when you launch watch the back of the boat raise slightly and stop there. remember a waterline marker on the trailer, when you go to load, back up till the water is just a hair below that.

The trailer in every try was fine crooked for a boat that size is meaningless. Their problem is it’s too deep. Leave the bunks exposed, drive into them, hook up the crank line and pull it up it straightens itself. On a heavy boat same drill but back up a tad more to float the boat and crank it up.
The other thing in a cross wind put a line on the back and front , tie to the dock, feed the lines out till it’s in line with the trailer and bring it home.
Ropes, learn to use them.

You must not be familiar with mud boats, Pro drives, or Gator Tails. The kind of girl who gets excited about being picked up in one of those is exactly the girl I want, serious outdoors hunting and fishing.
