The top is the easy part. The bottom is like Velcro, it collect pet hair & the rug will no longer stay down in the corners & sides. Are there are hacks for removing the hair from the bottom layer?
I am working on this - I will let you know what I figure out!!

I think its adorable how everyone makes washing these rugs soooooo easy peeasy lol.............who buys a small ruggable? LOL. I have a 9x13 ruggable and ya sure it can be "washed" if you wanna call it that but drying it is hilarious ...............we had to leave our rug outside for a WEEK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stop showing these little runners as an example lol...........show the big rugs being washed and dried so people know that they marketing hype is just that HYPE. Not trying to be mean to you but the Ruggable people need to stop hyping these "washable" rugs and then selling room size rugs that you think you can actually wash and dry lol
I have an 8x10 and it fits in my washer and dryer just fine (I have a video on this one, too). I’m getting ready to purchase a 9x12 for my living room and I think it’ll do fine, too. It’s not hype, but you do have to have a bigger washer/dryer.

You’re right! I have two 8 x 10 rugs that I had outside. Before I packed them away for winter I thought I’d wash them. I took one of the 8 x 10 rugs and tried to put it in my washing machine and what a disaster! It did not fit at all and I have a bigger HE washing machine. They do not fit! I have to take them to a laundromat.
