I’m so glad you spoke about the original owner, and so thoughtfully. As collectors, sometimes we don’t think about what will happen to our collections when we pass. There are stories behind every purchase or acquisition, and I think she would be glad to have her models be in loving homes.
loved this video i’m glad her collection is going to people who are just as passionate collectors
UPDATE: The remaining models have all been picked up by a local collector! :)
We are currently still working on getting the rest of the models I couldn't take home to a new owner! There are about 200 Traditional and Classic scale models left. If you live near Seattle, Washington and are interested in doing a local pick-up, send me a direct message through social media or email me (my email is under the "about" section of my youtube channel) and I'll get you more information! :)
Is there any way they could be shipped do you think? I’d love to look at the remaining ponies if they could be shipped!
What great luck you have had to find through your friend such a great opportunity.... And I'm glad, that her collection weren't thrown away and got a new good home. And I hope the rest will do as well.
I wished I would live nearby, but I don't....
Holy smokes! That’s a lot of models! Driving 1000+ miles to get a collection sounds like something I would do! Keep it up! ❤️
It's like it was meant to be! Best case scenario for such a beloved collection. To many these are much more than just some plastic toys. It was so sweet to see how well she packed her stablemates
Wasn’t it though! Made me cry seeing the care she had taken xx 💕
Thankful that her collection is getting recognition and honored by other collectors. What an adventure! ☺
bro the number of good film ponies there...ugh...dream. I also really love getting to hear the stories behind the models I buy, so it is SO cool that you get to help document and immortalize Judy. I wonder if Breyer has any records of 2008 BreyerFest volunteers? Not sure if they'd be willing to confirm her attendance, but I would love Breyer to recognize her for her wonderful collection!
This is such a beautiful story.
I absolutely love this. Thank you for rescuing that collection and sharing her story. This video is so heart warming it brought me to tears. I hope that someday my models will go to a fellow collector after I pass on. I also hope that someday I get to do the same and take over a fellow collectors cherished memories.
Awww this video got me all choked up! 💕 xx
It’s so sad and so sweet all at the same time! I’m so pleased you’ve rescued them - and good for the home owner for recognising how important it was to her. Seeing how carefully they were packed etc.... 🥰 xx
Look forward to learning more and seeing subsequent videos of this amazing collection! 😊👍
Oh my gosh, it would be my DREAM to find a hidden model collection in my new house's attic!
Same! We are moving too soonn!
This is beautiful, thank you for taking the time to sort through someone’s clearly treasured collection and making sure they all went to nice new homes
Oh man! She had the Spirit Stablemate set with the older mold Rain! I have wanted that set since I was a kid! I'm so jealous of her collection, but like you said, very glad it didn't get wasted and went to others that enjoy the same hobby!
Congrats on the new collection! Sounds like lots of work is ahead of you. I've been cataloging my collection and I have it in my trust, so that it doesn't just get dumped somewhere, when I'm gone. So glad that you saved the ponies!
Love this video and the respect for the original collector. So sweet
Quite the journey! I think it's fabulous, that you were able to rescue so many of Judy's models.I hate to see any model ignored, even ruined by neglect or poor storage or given to a little one who isn't old enough to play with them gently.
i can't tell from the angle, but i think i saw one of my favorite models in that pile! so glad to see this amazing collection that someone was clearly very passionate about going to people who are equally passionate about this hobby. so glad they didn't get thrown away or left in storage forever
How awesome! And what a great tribute in the end as well
Omg that's such an awesome thing to do! I wish I could get 600 horses at once!
This video was beautifully made! I was actually tearing up a bit near the end with the unpainted Running Mare and the unopened blanket-making set, wondering what plans she had for them. Well done!
Its the dream of every collector 😍
Omg I think I’d have the car packed to the tippy top and be holding some in my lap 😂😍😍😍
CANT WAIT for you to go through them!
I’m in Yakima wa. That would’ve been so nice to come along ! I love this !
OMG THATS AMAZING! I wish I could’ve been there!
Oh this is so lovely! ❤️
That is absolutely incredible! You hit the motherlode! Additionally, this is such a beautiful tribute to Judy. I'm sure she would be especially pleased to know a collector as kind and passionate as you have taken these models under your wing. I can't wait to see the unboxing videos!
Ah I'm so envious! This is such a fascinating opportunity, I can only hope someday my own collection will go to someone as enthusiastic.
That’s so sweet!
This is awesome x
Omg 😭 what a beautiful story ❤️🐎 Judy is looking down and is proud that her collection is survived through fellow model horse collectors 💕 I can't wait to see the series...it's going to be so fun 😄
Wow so cool 🤩
this looks like it was such an amazing opportunity! :)
Amazing Models☺
Gorgeous!!! Congrats on such a great find!!
I love that Color Crazy set!! If you sell them lmk! ☺️
I think when I am old I will sell most of my horses myself. It will hurt, but there is no one in my family who knows about value and loves breyer or schleich the way I do. I better look for younger collectors than than the horses ending up as kids toys.😅 I also like to keep most of my traditionals new in box
I miss my Messenger series models
HOW FUN FRIEND ✨
Talk about a dream come true
Watching your breyer videos makes me want to start collecting them, but I already have 3 expensive hobbies of my own lol.
Haha I understand! Model horses take priority for me right now, but I have a few other hobbies I'd be pouring more money into if I could afford it xD
@@StormyStrikeVideos i have a game im running and i pour money into that, i collect pokemon cards i pour money into that and i also do alot of gaming money into that dont even get me started on my furry hobbies LOL
I remember this!
We need a haul video!
It will start coming out soon! :D
If I had been the buyer of that house, and found all those models, they would be staying. I'm also a Breyer collector. (Jan Griffiths).
Okkay but i literally love the sham fighting stallions and the Indian pony. I really like that indian pony 👀
I'm pretty sure my big old SUV could probably hold all of them XD
Woah-
Alloooot of horses, I haven’t watched the ful Thing but will there be a giveaway?
I do have a giveaway coming up soon! :D I don't know yet if it will be a model from this collection or my own yet, but there will definitely be at least one giveaway within the next couple months! :)
@@StormyStrikeVideos ooo nice 💖
awesome!! so lucky!! :O :D Is it possible to buy the models who you didnt buy? If so, could you tell me where?
We are actually working on getting the rest of the models to a new home, but currently on a buy the whole lot, local pick-up only kind of situation. If there is anyone near the Seattle, Washington area that wants them, I can help them get in contact with the owner on purchasing them :)
@@StormyStrikeVideos Hmm i think i might have a show near there sometime. All i need is more shelves... and a bigger car lol!
Oh my gosh your so lucky! I wish i had that opportunity
If you don't mind me asking how much did you get doe the lot (600+ breyer), If you dont wanna share this info i completely understand.
Honestly, I never expected something like this to happen for me before it did. I hope an opportunity like this comes along for you too! Just keep your eyes peeled. You never know what might happen! :D
@@StormyStrikeVideos Aw thank you!
Would so love the craft Breyer alas uk hard to get
I really wish Breyers were more accessible to collectors in the UK (and just outside the US in general.) I hope someday that will change for the better!
Wow could u do a haul of all your models
Yep! That's the plan! :D It will take several videos, but I'll be showing all of the models I got from the collection!
@@StormyStrikeVideos can’t wait to see that! I’m so happy for you, it must have been so cool to go through a collection of this size!
Hey Stormy just a quick question! I ordered Theo before he went out of stock along with others, will they still come.? I really need my order to arrive before Wednesday 8th cause I don’t live in America I sent it to my friend for her to bring them back for me but she’s coming back on Wednesday. Thanks!
Hello! If you placed the order, it should still be sent to you, but I have no idea on how soon it could arrive. You can check your Breyer account history to see if a tracking number has been added to the order yet, otherwise it sounds like something you'd have to call Breyer about.
@@StormyStrikeVideos Okay thank you so much!
Are you keeping any models? And where are the being sold?
I plan on keeping the majority of them :) There will be some that will be up for giveaways/trades/sale in the future, but not for quite some time as it will take me a while to go through them all.
@@StormyStrikeVideos ok thank you
Geez , I’m not that far from Seattle. Wish I had known and could have helped . Only an hours drive
We're actually still trying to sell the rest of the models I couldn't take as a lot. If you're interested, send me a message through social media or email (on the "about" section of my channel page) and I'll help get you in touch with the owner on purchasing them :)
What happened to you and your friend has been my dream since I can remember. Not bashing the collector who passed(may she RIP), but DAYUM!!
how much were they each?
I'm only across the state from em
How muck did they cost for all?
I won't put the exact amount but it was a lot. Easily the cost of a trip to BreyerFest.
Those wolf figures are stunning! If anyone know what they are, please let me know!
They appear to be called "The Wolf Spirit Collection" :)
@@StormyStrikeVideos Thank you so much!
unfourtunately i live in the UK so i cant get any horses)-:
And lo, didst the other horse sisters devour upon the plastic horses that outlasted the bones of their horse sister.
