Agree on the long names. I have a hard enough time remembering the release names, definitely won’t be remembering most of these!
I really think the Dunalino True North will be the glossy split! I think the color variation split will be the Overo Adonis, or possibly the Appaloosa Salinero. Mane/Tail split is a bit harder to predict here but I reckon possibly the deco Astrid since that mold has several different manes - I agree with you on pretty much all your thoughts! :D
A "fun surprise revealed after the event" i would think refers to the online only LEs, since no one will have them until later 😉

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they did a mane split on the Catch Me! I feel like a braid would look pretty normal on that mold

I would be so psyched if they throw us a wild mold variation on the Indian Pony. She's one of my favorites (and was one of my firsts). My hunch is they're going to do the color split on her. (I admit I'd be ok if they did no variation at all, since my wallet would be happier!)

I honestly I have no ideas about what Breyer will pull out for variations this year. I would love to see a micro run of 35 to relate to the 25th anniversary I think that’s super cool! But also with the regular splits they usually do who knows! I’m also very excited to see what they do with the surprise model! I just have a feeling they’re gonna pull out a lot of different colorways this year like they did with the dundee surprises!
I really wanted a country or rock song with a nice western pony but oh well 😂 I also love the idea of a Barbie theme but I doubt we’ll ever see it since Barbie is also technically a model horse company. Maybe a future collab tho… 🫣

I'm so torn about variations this year 😫 Part of me loves getting variations, but at the same time I really love certain coats as is this year and I don't want to end up with something different!

It is surprising! They had them out really early in the month last year. I'm wondering if they are having technical difficulties with it since they have some new changes this year.

Also, I see what you mean about this year’s theme. I could appreciate empowering young ladies so long as Breyer avoids muddying the waters with politics (and, ironically, I say this as someone who majored in political science). Additionally, I hope they use the theme as an opportunity to promote overcoming adversity and defying odds.

I'm a bit surprised at the lack of a plush so far too... But I rarely get the plushes (I own a grand total of two, though I am eyeing up the new St. Patrick's day one at the moment, lol). I'll be going online, even though I had thought to perhaps try in person. It's not a year that I absolutely have to go with the current models. The only one I'll be sad that isn't available to me is the Quagga. I really like it. But I'll be happy enough to try to get Miss Independent and Better Than Revenge for SRs. And Athenian Lady is going to be a gorgeous Celebration Horse. I'm really looking forward to her.
The thing that is doing it for me this year are the Limited Editions. I'm absolutely in love with Blue Zeus... I've been following Skydog since they reunited Goliath with Red Lady, and then when they reunited Blue Zeus' family, I was shamelessly ugly crying at my screen.
I'm also here for the Classic deco. He's fun, and I have an obtainable conga to keep up, so I'll be going for him... And I'm oddly in love with Alan A Day's Work. At first I was meh on him, though I loved his name for a very niche band I used to enjoy, and the fact that one of those band members played Alan-A-Dale in that otherwise not great Russell Crowe Robin Hood movie... And honestly, my love for that band will probably convince me to try for him too...
Overall, a pretty affordable Breyerfest if I can stay on budget and don't go overboard with the merch.

Im so excited, especially for Blue Zeus and Fight song!!! I agree with you the quagga is a little off putting for me, I feel like the stripes on it are too stark white and maybe they should’ve tried to fade them off a bit , it’s still cute though!

There's a game called Caballus Collecting thats about collecting model horses that just release a demo. Would be cool to see you a review video on it.
I'm already a supporter on their Kickstarter! I'll be sharing more about it on my social media, but I am unfortunately unsure if I will be able to make a video on it soon or not.
Just wondering if breyer or if someone else is going to be making a video on how the new digital tickets are going to how they’re going to work because I am very confused by it and I am scared about it and I need like someone to explain it
I have no idea if Breyer will, but they might! They have some explanations on it on their site under BreyerFest FAQ and the first timer guide.
I might try to do a CZcams Short on it later on after tickets go on sale. It sounds like they will be a lot like how digital tickets for most events, attractions, and even the airport work these days.
I really feel like the long names are just going to end up shortened by collectors anyway 😅 Ain't nobody got time for that! And worse if acronyms must be used, lol. I guess they wanted to do something a bit different or not seem generic but it does come off...very unwieldy.
And random but has anyone done a digital model of, um, "the rearing guy" to see what he'd look like standing? I hope I'm wrong, I'm probably wrong, but I feel sometimes like he'd be a little sausage with short front legs! The mini version seems to be proportionally more leggy.
Oh and I really agree with you on the quagga -- I hope someday they do a new zebra (and a new mule!!!!) old and try something more like what you suggest.
I’m not actually 100% sure on the models I want to get yet (Aside from the mare and foal that’s a given). It’s my first year going in person and I just know once I get there and see all the models in person I will fall in love with too many of them 😂
Oh it might be worth noting too, people who purchase tickets in person at the KHP won’t have access to the online stuff, so it’s not technically EVERY ticket that can get Blue Zeus.

how does the online ticket work? do the models sell out extremely quick? just trying to figure out if i should buy a ticket because i’ll be in disney world so it could be difficult if they sell out within seconds. also, i know it’s limited to 2 special run, but is there a limit to buying the limited editions?
Hello! For the limited editions the limit is that you can only buy one of each for each transaction, but you can make as many transactions you like. The only Limited Edition I predict will sell out semi-quick is the best of breyerfest stablemates set. I have a feeling all the others will take a while to sell out, if they sell out at all (basing on the sells of models last year and general popularity.) The "Blue Zeus" model may sell out but Breyer recently announced they will be having it on backorder so it will still be available all weekend regardless.
I don't think too much is going to sell out immediately aside from the grab bags if they have them and maybe the stablemate set (which they did make a little more of this year.)
Have fun at Disney World! I'm hoping to go sometime within the next several years.

i’ve had breyers for years but never really considered genuinely collecting & displaying them until recently, so this will be the first breyerfest i participate in !

I love so many of the models this year but my top favourite is Better Than Revenge (it of course helps that she is named after a Taylor Swift song) but I am obsessed with her colors 😍🌈
Honestly, I think the funnest thing they could do instead of different colors ways would be including tack of some sort. A halter that says juicy? A blanket that’s denim or has a Lisa frank print? It’s like 100000% never going to happen but I would personally adore tack

Hi! I'm so happy, I've been waiting for your video on the SRS and store specials this year! (can't wait for your prediction btw! I put forever sage in first place, followed by the working cow horse in number two, S justadream and variants in number three, Bluegrass Bandit in number four, Sucession in number five (I know it's a stretch but I see how they could say all moms are heroes and that pregrancy is a miracle yadda yadda yadda, I don't plan to have kids so I have no opinions), and lippizaner mare in number five (my number six is the one I hope they chose, for conga purposes: the trotting arabian mare)
I'm so sorry in advance I am that commenter who will comment before watching my video, since I don't make any assumptions about you or your opinions I feel it's okay and I feel it also shows more truly my real opinion about the theme and horses before this video changes my mind on a lot of things!
I have thoughts for the theme choice XD I hope I won't getted judged too hard in the comments.. I totally agree with your point about the theme.. Don't get me wrong I have nothing wrong about feminism and girl bossing BUT all this pink whashing makes me feel ikky on breyer models especially when the theme has nothing to do with feminism and as an added malus, this makes me feel bad if anything.. Horse riding is already known to be a "girl sport" why can't they chose to empower men for once? I've been riding my whole life (I'm 24 so basically 22 years of riding) and I can count on two hands the amount of boys and men I've met at my club who where riders (I'm from france and in the europe whe have even less male riders than in the states) All this to say that pink whashing everything.. When it comes to horses... I feel like it does more harm than good in the end for our hobby and our sport... As for the single day stablemates I personnally don't like them and I really don't understand why they only chose pop songs, this excludes 3/4 of the community why couldn't they choose a pop girly music like this, maybe a classical music, some rock or metal and maybe hip hop or rap or electro, something varied.. Because I feel like half of the releases for this breyerfest was just barbie horse after barbie horse (even when you read the descriptions of some of the SRs or when you listen to the videos of the celebration model they are like (yeah this mare was saved by her feminine strenght or whatever, yeah stop it's a horse, she's a queen, but yet, she's a horse.. Her gender doesn't make who she is or what she is.. Sorry I went off rails but I'm pretty passionate about this subject.. :/ )
I do love always chipper, the salinero, Blue zeus and fighter and surviver as well as the quagga!!! I have to say I am pretty disappointed with the quagga's paintjob though.. It looks a bit like a regular run and doesn't show the species true colors (more nuances, thiner more blended in stripes... Stripes that gradually get more and more transparent over the body color rather than abruptly stopping.. But hey I'll still get it! As a paleo nerd I think it's the best quagga any brand made! (I know you're also a dino and extinct animal nerd so please correct me if you can think of other brands that did a better executed quagga!)

Okay this comment is my opinion after watching your video! I hope they do the realistic color split on the quagga! As you know people are trying to bring back the quagga back from extinction and we have something that actually does look like the mix between a zebra and a quagga! Basically a warmer toned zebra with stripes only on the front end! This could be an opportunity for them to do a reverse patern like you said and it would make sense with the name of the horse! (extinct version and the version that "survived"
As for the surprise for the store, and since showing is such a huge chunk of the hobby, I do think they could do some themed pony pouches? I would buy them in a heartbeat if they did decide to do that even though I don't show haha!
I hope they do make a plush this year, maybe it will be revealed at breyerwest?
As for the barbie hore statement of my previous comment, I was maybe a bit too passionate.. because most of the horses are perfectly fine, it just annoys me that most of them are named about pop songs and female pop songs, again nothing against females and girl power, I just think people go a little bit overboard with this subject nowadays and I don't see what horse figurines have to do with feminism... Especially in a hobby already dominated by females (it just makes the voices of the people questionning and shaming boys for their interest in the hobby even stronger in my opinion)

I totally agree that the design of the Quagga could have been even more reasltic and true to them (hence why it would have been great to see Zebrastrepstudios design it as she is a qugga and zebra expert! Even with production limitations I think it could have been a little more detailed.) I absolutely love your idea though of it being the color split with a modern zebra/quagga color! That would be super cool and I'd need both versions!
Pony pouches are also a great idea for the store! Those always seem to be popular!
When I was little they cost only $5.oo. Not anymore!
Times have definitely changed! I wish I would have taken advantage more of some of cheaper prices when I first started collecting.

Is a glossy dunalino True North better than a Lionel? I show, and I have a Lionel. That's the only reason I'm not getting Miss Independent.
Breyer does a red leopard Knabstrupper, a color I've loved since I was in kindergarten, and they're giving us this measley barely spotted guy!? It's my same issue with the Quagga! Stingy on the spots and stripes, Breyer! I have a metallic bay Totilas volunteer model, and it is LONELY!!!
I am attending virtually this year, and selling virtually! Could we please do some kind of collaboration? Can I paint a horse for you? I'm an equine artist! I'd like to do a video on selling virtually. I'd like to also maybe do some air dry clay charms that look like some of the Special Runs. The frame Lipizzaner is super popular, you say?
Unfortunately it is impossible say whether one model will place better over the other as there are so many factors that come into play with showing. The breeds for the models, their shading, what else is on the table, and the judge's own personal preferences are all things that will effect the placing. A glossy Miss Independent could place over Lionel at one show, then Lionel could place over her at a different show. You just never know what might happen!
I'm unfortunately not able to take on any collaborations or sponsorships right now with other things I have going on, but I might be able to do something in month or two when it gets closer to BreyerFest. Feel free to send me a message or email later and we can chat more about it!

My friend is nonbinary and she doesn't like LGBT activism, having others silenced. I guess she doesn't exist? Go ahead and delete my comment. But the truth is the truth, these topics DON'T belong in the hobby or any hobby for that matter. Just talk about the horses.
I'm sorry that you think that me just mentioning that non-binary people collect model horses is suddenly LGBT+ activism in a video. You are the one that is trying to make a big discussion about it in the hobby right now. Take a moment to reflect on that and please drop further discussion on it here.
@@StormyStrikeVideos Well it was your talk on Breyer's theme in general. And your mention of "Can't Hold us down" somehow not being PC. Politics should not be a discussion in hobbies. Going back to that comment though, I took it as biological women are now outdated as women and anyone can identify as them. I think everybody knows both boys and girls can and do love horses. The name Phillipe literally means "Lover of Horses." I love Breyer horses, but I know children love them as well which is why I am especially quiet on identity politics, Man Vs Woman, ideologies, politics. Any mention of 'em in my eyes is a no no. And my friends who are gay, ect agree. I am only explaining. You can delete this comment if you want and silence me. But this is where I will drop it.

@StormyStrikeVideos I have no idea what you meant by Can't Hold Us down not being PC. If it's in reference to biological women no longer being valid, that is both VERY offensive and untrue. I struggled with gender dysphoria all my life as a woman and learned to accept I am a woman. Before that I hated myself. It is a mental illness. My gay, bi, ect friends ARE real, I AM a woman, and again, they know reality and don't voice their opinions on that stuff. They don't base their life around their gender and sexuality.. All I know is I am a woman through and through. No man can take that away from me. Misogyny is what it is when those who claim to be women want to invalidate biological women and go into their sports and safe spaces. I really hope yall wake up. Not saying yall don't exist, but don't go invalidating me and others who know the struggles of womanhood. That's all I am saying. Breyer was awesome to include that song. I'm tired of being held down and silenced by misogyny. And my LGBT friends have my back. They don't even involve themselves with that label.
@@3DOBot I'm just now seeing that you must have edited this comment at some point before and I didn't see it. It is seems there is a misunderstanding. In my video I meant that the mold name "Indian Pony" is not technically a correct term today even though we all still use it (and I don't have a problem with people still using it. I do too.) I said it was politically incorrect which I completely admit was not the right term for me to say, rather that it is more like socially incorrect since it's in reference to Native American/Indigenous type horses. Many Natives do not like to be called Indians since Indians are a completely different group of people. I have zero problem with the name "Can't Hold Us Down" for the model and I don't have any problem with the song and themes it may represent. I'm sorry for the confusion on that. That was part of an unscripted section of the video and I tend to be less eloquent in voicing my thoughts when I'm not on script.
