- Hey everyone! Welcome back to my channel. Today, we're taking the beloved Crack Burger to the next level with an elevated, low-carb twist that is perfect for keto enthusiasts. This gourmet delight combines juicy ground chuck, applewood smoked bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese, all topped with a homemade garlic aioli. Plus, we're using low-carb buns that make each burger just 3.83g net carbs!
Ingredients:
1.5 lbs ground chuck (80/20 blend)
3 tbsp sour cream
2 tbsp ranch dressing mix
1/3 cup cooked and crumbled applewood smoked bacon
1 cup shredded aged sharp cheddar cheese
1 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
4 low-carb brioche buns (3g net carbs each)
Butter lettuce, heirloom tomato slices, and red onion rings (optional)
Homemade garlic aioli (1/2 cup mayonnaise, 2 tsp pre-minced garlic, 1 tsp lemon juice, salt, and pepper)
Instructions:
Prepare the Garlic Aioli: Mix mayonnaise, pre-minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Prepare the Patties: In a large bowl, gently combine ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, chives, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Avoid overmixing. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape into patties about 1 inch thick.
Cook the Patties: Preheat your grill or cast iron skillet to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates or pan. Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4 minutes on one side. Flip carefully and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
Prepare the Buns and Toppings: Toast the low-carb buns lightly on the grill or in a skillet with a bit of butter. Assemble the burgers by spreading garlic aioli on both halves of the buns. Layer with butter lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion rings.
Serve: Place the patties on the prepared buns. Serve immediately and enjoy!

If you want Keto BBQ sauce, try G Hughes sugar free brand. The sweet & spicy bbq sauce is amazing! All of their stuff I’ve tried is so good I’d buy it even if I wasn’t keto! My hubby loves burgers so I’ll have to try this recipe. Also, love the griddle!

Brown the rolls in the burger oils, added flavors.
The electric griddle inside is nice, but the steam coming off of the stuff you are cooking had oils in it, and that settles over everything in the house unless you use it under a hood or vent of some sort.
Shredding your own cheese is better for Keto because the pre-shredded cheese often has some kind of flour so that it doesn't clump.

something like that i mix all the ingredients well before adding the beef. just makes it so much easier.
You can get dehydrated chopped chives and have them on hand to reconstitute when you need them. Also precooked bacon bits in a bag. This is in the spirit of preminced garlic.

I totally prep using paper plates in my RV! Mostly for grating cheese just like you! I found some Duke's mayo and it's really good stuff! For description & macros, total carbs (just for bun alone) is actually 16g. So has to be way more than 4g total
Chat GPT trick, after it creates a recipe, if you have too much of a particular ingredient or the recipe calls for less... Ask Chat GPT to modify.. SO in this case, "Modify for 2lbs ground beef". It will then rewrite the recipe to fit your ingredients.

Careful with the keto buns MOST have SEED oil which stays in your body for 200 plus days :( Seed oils are worse for you than sugar :( Stick to a good Olive oil, avocado or Coconut, bacon grease, tallow, lard etc..
