Maaaaan you took me way back, I loved that show seeing them run though that maze grabbing all those games putting them on that velcro vest was a dream for me.

Definitely entertaining. I miss that feeling as a kid. I don't watch much tv anymore.

I was huge fan of Video Power. It used to air here on WWOR Channel 9 at 7am and was taped here in NYC. The game show segment was my favorite, especially the bonus round where the kids could win something huge like a Neo Geo AES ($650) or a TurboGrafx-CD ($400), both of which were way out of most people's price range at the time.

I know you and I are close in age. It was crazy the concept that came up with of shooting it before school would start. I was already a kid that liked getting up in the morning. Totally agree about the prizes was insane. They were like, "here kid go home and play something awesome!" lol

This is a cool series, gives you a lot of room to make content. Never seen video power but I’d have geeked out over it as a kid. The closest I had to that kind of gaming TV show blended experience was Toonami animations in the 90’s where there were interludes between shows. There was really cool website integration as well where you could decorate a pad with pop cartoon anime characters. So nostalgic!

Just for a short window of time we got to experience the show. It was a gamer's dream. On my downtime I like to sit around and come up with ideas and things to shoot for the channel.

Video Power was made by Haim Saban. I didn't know that. Plus, I haven't watch the show before. I might check it out on CZcams (if it carries it). I do remember watching an show called Nick Arcade from Nickelodeon in 1992. Nice video, LS.

I use to watch Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad before I went to school. The show only lasted about a year.

So many childhood fav shows LS79 🤔 I can’t say any were video game related though. Never heard of VP until today. I can only image what kinda laughs took place on that show.

I've actually never heard of Video Power... I would have loved this show! Do you remember what station it was on back in the day?

Back in the 90's it was Fox 33. Now its called CW33 in Dallas, Texas. Fox eventually got bought out and moved to Fox 4 for us. So it went from Fox to WB to CW. It was only on for such a short period of time.
