Hi Kyle, I’m looking for a dry sump front cover for a na pp 13b. I’m aware of chip Motorsports kit, but those are … expensive. Is there any chance you are aware or someone that has one and is willing to sell it? I would love to hear from you!! Kind regards rense
For me, it sucks that I can't use these front plates. My 20b is moved back in my fd chassis and sits right behind the steering rack. The lower protrusions would hit the rack so I would have to raise my engine to fit these. Be nice if someone could just machine a wider factory style oil pump to fit within the factory housing. 1/4" wider should be enough to increase oil flow on 20b for 10k rpms when the factory starts loosing pressure at around 8.5k.
Yeah I get that. I feel like they're main purpose is for racing so under extreme loads there is no oil starvation.. It sounds like you have a nice setup already going
@@KyleMohanRacing Yea my set up is NA and I built it back in 2009. It's PP but I limit my rpms because of the oil flow. Engine is out right now as I have to re-engineer my intake. Old one was poorly welded by yours truly. Lol!
Where are the two oil pickup locations? I dont see any locations in the flat plate.

Chip is doing one last run of these. After that they will no longer be made.
Didn't know he planned to discontinue them too bad

Is there any downside to running these other than cost?
Increased crankcase vacuum which can cause gasket/seal failures. Rob dahm suggests running a pressure regulator for this reason
