- Mu isamaa, mu õnn ja rõõm ("My Fatherland, My Happiness and Joy"; Estonian pronunciation: [mu ˈisɑmɑː mu ˈɤnʲ jɑ ˈrɤːm]) was adopted as the national anthem (Estonian: (riigi)hümn) of the Republic of Estonia in 1920, and again in 1990.
The lyrics were written by Johann Voldemar Jannsen and are set to a melody composed in 1848 by Fredrik (Friedrich) Pacius which is also that of the national anthem of Finland: Maamme ("Vårt Land" in Swedish). It is also considered to be national anthem for Livonian people with text Min izāmō, min sindimō, My Fatherland, my native land. - Hudba

I love sharing the national anthem with the Estonians. We share a history and a cultural influences, so why not a song. So glad that Estonia gained its independence too and so glad we may be in the same military alliance soon too.

As an Estonian I really hated seeing A. Nevsky Cathedral in this video especially during the part of God. First of all, it was built in the early 1900s during the Russification period when Estonia was still under Russian Empire. Similar churches showing Russian dominance over conquered lands were built also to Helsinki Finland (Uspenski Cathedral) and to Riga Latvia. It was the time when even speaking Estonian in schools was punishable. Secondly, Estonia is traditionally a Lutheran country, not Orthodox (except few places). We belong to the same Lutheran/Northern European culture room as other Nordic countries, Germany and the Netherlands. I believe that this video was made without knowing the information written above, but please do consider it hereafter.

As a Korean who is interested in Estonian culture and history, I felt the same way too. We have similar history, except we were under Empire of Japan. We also had similar building as A. Nevsky cathedral in heart of Seoul, which was used as head of Japanese colonial government, but fortunately previous president Kim Young Sam demolished it. I think the guy who made the video didn't know about the history behind it, but I think it would be better if he knew it at first place.

And your flag fell down from the sky here as well. We, Estonians, really need to change our flag to the nordic cross one. Not only it originates here, but it was proposed as a national flag back in 1919 or smth.

The Swedish anthem is completely different. This anthem has lyrics in Swedish, yes, but only used officially in Finland.
